- Hello creative community! In this video I am sharing bits and pieces from my day to day life. I was participating in exhibition for a week, had fox themed fox update and painted birds with watercolours for upcoming bird book.

Foxes🦊 Hello Kriksis, I'll tell you what happens to my shop. I realized that if I put out new things every month, I make good sales. But the main thing is that if I disappear from Instagram for a while it seems like people forget me. That's why I make a lot of stories every day. And if I show my products and put the link, at least one person buys. I also noticed that if I say it's the last item for that item, someone runs there to buy it. I confess that it is super tiring, but if I don't do it this way I won't be able to pay my bills. Maybe this could help. I'm glad you sold more this time. And I saw my order on the video. I'm very excited to receive it! I loved seeing the exhibitions. I'm going to participate in my first exhibition in August, but I won't be there as it's a café. It's incredible to be able to follow the process of your book. Thank you for always sharing amazing things!

Foxes!! Oh I loved this video! I’m going to buy a fox zine and some stickers, they’re so lovely. Your nuthatch painting is gorgeous and I love the jackdaws, we rent a bungalow on a farm and there’s loads in the trees behind us, also starlings and pigeons. We feed the smaller birds but all the big ones including the jackdaws come for food. It’s like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds some days 😂 x

Foxes. I love the nuthatch painting! I live in NW Washington State and we have a patch of Douglas Fir in our backyard. Nuthatches are always flitting around the trunks and getting the seeds out of the fircones. They are such fun to watch.

Foxes, Sometimes in our lives as a ful time artist we have to take a leap of faith when it comes to selling and promoting our work,but sometimes the rewards fom doing so,make taking that leap worthwhile. I have to say I so love the foxes sketchbook zine,so happy to have a copy and I really love the fox artist sticker,it makes me smile every time I see him. I really have a sense that your bird book is going to do really well,people love artist made self published books. We've seen over a few videos the artworks for the book and it is going to look amazing when it all comes together,am sure. It sounds like coming back to the painting of the Jackdaws gave you the clarity to know what you needed to do to complete it and I love the idea of the girl serenading the jackdaws with her guitar. I think sometimes as artists we have to be our own sponsor,but I think this is healthy and almost part of our being a full time artist and we shouldn't feel bad about being so,but instead see it as a stepping stone and a step forward and it's a way to make more people aware of our work,we know our own work so well,so we are natural ambassadors for what we do as artists and I feel it's okay to embeace this. So lovely to see you painting in real time as well. (matt) P.s i wonder if alpacas will appear in your paintings one day....

🦊🦊 you should self promote: often it’s only with promotion I think of or know what and where an artist sells. After all that’s why ads work (as much as we try to avoid most the bad ones) ❤

Foxes! What a lovely video Kriksis. I find your work enchanting ❤ I just wish RUclips would be more sensitive as to where they insert adverts. There are so many now and they really ruin the mood. Im enjoying watching you work with lovely indie music playing and some horrible, brash, loud ad for a product I’m not interested in cuts in. Sometimes they cut you off mid sentence, it’s getting quite out of hand. I know it’s not your fault of course.
Thank you Jennie! Ads help a bit as that how we get add sense(get payed by RUclips), but understand that they might be loud and a bit in random places. I recently discovered that I can move them around a bit so I tried my best to do so.
