Sounds like a game that’s I’d put time in. I don’t need big rewards for completing everything. I just want stuff to do. If that makes me play a level 10 times each. Well...so be it. It’ll be worth the downtime I put into it over the years. Wooly world was easy but I made my own skill by going through the levels without getting hit once getting all the hearts. So marks off by more playing time is not bad for me. I need a game to play with my gf from time to time and relax.

I don't get it, why do y'all judge a game based on soundtrack? Isn't the point of a game is to just play it? Since when did soundtracks determine a game's potential? This is honestly stupid to me as there's no reason to judge if I'm going to buy a game or not just because a single note in one song is off

I know a lot of people complain about the music being repetitive and not as good as the music in Woolly World, but I honestly don't mind if the soundtrack is so bad. At least in my opinion.

I don't normally mind the lack of decent rewards when beating a video game to full completion as I mainly just do it cause I have fun playing them so I'm willing to put up with them even if the rewards may not seem that fulfilling to some, but that's just me. Also, the music's bad...? Really? The one that was playing during review seemed fine to me. It has to be least better than Yoshi's New Island's music (even though I don't have much of an issue with that game's soundtrack personally minus the kazoo instrumentals).

I'm hoping after this game, Nintendo uses the Unreal 4 Engine for future games. Because when you think about it, Every studio seems to utilize they're own custom in house engines. Sure the hardware of the Switch isn't up to snuff. But I personally fell Nintendo could pull this off. Thank you developer Good Feel.

The difference with a lot of main titles regarding zelda and Mario is that they have a unique experience when playing it that can't be compared. I love yoshi games don't get me wrong but think of it like a movie would you rather buy full price tickets for an amazing movie (think video games at the level of Galaxy and windwaker) or pay full price for a B-list movie ( Yoshi and Mario Tennis.) the biggest problem with this game for me is that there is simply TOO many things that you can throw eggs at. There's way more targets than you have eggs at any time and most of the time it's just useless stuff which devalues throwing eggs at anything at all. It also relies on replaying the same levels over and over and over and over again to get collectibles which feels like meaningless padding. Some of the levels are cool but I really felt fatigued and didn't want to explore or try to finish any levels unlike Woolly World. This leads to me not wanting to interact with Souveniers at all and makes Blockafeller super frustrating
