- The inspiration of the story is fulfilling a childhood dream, not just something great, but something unique, something that nobody else has had the opportunity to experience. This story is about a dream that takes root with the heroine and how she tends to it. The story also presents the father, whose nurturing and support not only prove his tremendous love, but also the strength of a shared belief. Essentially, the story is for dreamers about a dreamer, who proves that by believing in yourself, your dreams will come to be.
Our short film was watched and judged by Gareth Edwards, director of Star Wars Rogue One, what an honour!

Love that she has the Saturn V rocket Lego set in the background, and the small rocket she has is also made of Lego.
Oof that hurts to think that kids these days wouldn't think Pluto should be included as a planet! :P

in grade 8 they asked us what we wanted "to be". i had always wanted to be a helicopter pilot. in those days you could get a licence for around $25k i think. never went through with it and to this day i still wish i did. oh well.

Technically, he did made it for NASA. Even the director of Rogue One - Gareth Edwards saw Kamil's entry. He was one of the judges. :)

Bardzo profesjonalna realizacja. Kurczę, majstersztyk na miarę dużego studia. Sam byłem kiedyś miłośnikiem astronomii. To było wieki temu, jeszcze zanim zacząłem robić animacje. Nie było jeszcze głośno o Elonie Musku, a Pluton był planetą :) Może trzeba odkurzyć stary teleskop...

Specjalnie budowaliśmy scenografię :) Jako ciekawostka zdradzę, że było to w hali przy wysypisku śmieci haha

Why does the astronaut suit have sun shades even though mars has an atmosphere?
Probably because it was shot on earth which also has an atmosphere 🤷♂️😀
Astronaut sun shades are only meant for space walks and for the moon landings.
Good point. To be honest the entire suit was based on that one from the Apollo program. What is more we used it for the technical reasons as well.

Well that was one of the rules in that contest, max allowed length was 5min as the 1st place winner video was screened along the US in almost 300 cinemas before ”First Man”.
