- Friends, in many ways, the second reading for this Sunday is the climax of the entire biblical revelation. We find a detailed description of the heavenly Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven to earth. There is no temple in this city because the whole city has become a temple. What began in the book of Genesis now comes to its fulfillment: the marriage of heaven and earth-the beautiful, integrated place of right praise.

Our true home, where we are meant to be, where our souls long for. Heaven, the place of God's dwelling. God has rescued us. Allow yourself to be rescued, to be found, to say yes and to get your life rightly ordered and then go on mission to share this most important message of beauty, love, and peace with a world still in the darkness. Bring to everyone this light, life, and true hope.
May I suggest that intelligence is not enough to give these talks as you are giving us, dear Bishop: they require a life of deep prayer and intimacy with God which you must most certainly have. God bless you and protect you.

I like the stained glass analogy, I often think of this when I am dealing with difficult people, when everything is right and you see their true colors you get a glimpse of something great, other times it is a big job to see the Christ in them.

Bishop Barron's fourth appearance in my dream. Previous to that Pope Francis's second appearance in my dream. Just after when Jesus said, "hide in my wound." I have assigned myself to pray daily with St. Bridget of Sweden's Catholic prayer since this March. She was the one who l haven't read. Pope gave us these names of Saints. 11th prayer she wants to hide in Christ's wound. I am reading Catechism of catholic church. Wounds to unity. I am upto reading to study 817. And psalm 129 mentions wound as well. I love my Church. One and only. Thank you Bishop Barron. Your spirit is reaching out to me. I needed that. I feel stronger today with your kind help.

The Eucharist is a right, not a privilege.
@@triratanapurcell9006 In that the Eucharist can't be denied for arbitrary reasons, you're right. Economic status, race, education, nationality, none of those will prevent you from receiving the Eucharist.
Sin, on the other hand, is certainly a reason not to receive the Eucharist. it is an act of mercy to not let Nancy Pelosi take the Eucharist, as it would endanger her soul to do so while in sin. If she goes to confession and repents, then she can safely receive it again.
