Thanks Dom! I’ve always liked Nightwing but from a distance since I’m more of a Marvel reader. That being said, I’m planning to get the 2025 Nightwing omnis including Taylors run. I’d like to see Titans in the volume 2. It would expose me to additional stories I’d otherwise probably never read.
I’m also looking forward to the Bendis All New X Men. I’m a huge X Men fan but stopped collecting them after Onslaught in the 90s. Bendis’ run caught my eye and brought me back and I’ve been collecting them ever since. Looking forward to having this run in oversized format.
I agree with you and think a second volume of Nightwing by Taylor should include the Titans and Beast Wars issues. If they don’t include those issues the second volume would hardly be worth the price.

I have a strong feeling that we will eventually get a DC Vs Vampires omnibus. I’m trying to hold out for that.

I'd much prefer they put all of Taylor's Nightwing run in just one big omnibus. But looks like that's not gonna happen. 😔I was hopeful the listings would change to that.

I don't think there's any chance DC adds all of those Titans issues to Nightwing, based on their past releases. They could bulk volume 2 out with extras, scripts, variant covers and so on but I think they're releasing it in 2 volumes just so they sell more. It's one of their most popular runs recently, they want to make bank on it.
Yeah I doubt it as well, but we'll see.
I hope DC does that with Tom Taylors Nightwing but I cant see dc doing that. I think they are just gonna give us a very skinny 2 omni set sadly....
I wonder if, like PKJ with House of El, Taylor might have another Nightwing project on the way and that’s what they’re anticipating with these omnibus contents
For Tom Taylor Nightwing, I want it ALL (incl. Titans and Beast World) in a big vol. 2. A tiny vol. 2 wouldn't make sense to me. In that case I would prefer just a single volume with all the run excluding Titans and Beast World.
Give us Nightwing and the Titans Omni, please! In fact, since you thought of it, can we call it a “Domnibus”?
I like compacts removing volumes. It implies more will be released and in order when DC haven't said whether the compact will collect series in full or not. More of a gateway.

The Tom Taylor Bruno Redundo run was so good. Sadly, the pacing was really bad and there were so many fill in artists later in the run. Can they fit all the Bruno Redundo issues in one omnibus and the other one can have all the fill in issues and Beast World Titans?
I love the All New X-Men run with Brian Michael Bendis. Ism glad it is getting recollected. Maybe it is Stuart Immonen art, which was peak.
It makes absolutely no sense to skip the Battle of the Atom on Bendis X-Men Omnibus. Someone dropped the ball.
I'm not optimistic it will collect titans nor beast world.

The problem with Bendis's run on X-Men is that while there are some good things and some fun things, he made some changes to X-Men characters and lore that ruined them that Marvel will never reverse. It deserves the hate it gets.
And just for added effect, he went over to DC and did the exact same trite to Superman.

@@SolidK9 What do you mean, like what? Are you seriously asking me what change did BMB make to X-Men lore and characters that irrevocably changed the series? The changes that are widely considered bad by most of the fanbase? Are you seriously asking me what that change is? Because if you don't know, that's fair, but if you're trying to get me in some kind of gotcha like I'm afraid to say what it is, well that won't work either.

Well, in his run, there's a scene where young Jean "reads" young Bobby's mind and somehow decides that he's gay. He tells her he's not, and she insists he is and eventually he agrees with her.
Now, obviously this has multiple issues stacked on it including: Bobby has decades worth of history of never being gay, a telepath going into your mind and telling you something extremely intrinsic about yourself such as your sexuality is a horrible thing to do, that same telepath refusing to accept your response that they're wrong and continues to push what they "read" onto you comes off as "planting" which is something Xavier has explicitly mentioned throughout decades of storytelling as one of the biggest fears a telepath should have and one of the reasons the world fears telepaths, the fact that the things that happen to the O5 in the present timeline actually won't correspond to the present versions of themselves because they even proceeded to state that in Extermination series so even if young Bobby decided he was gay, it wouldn't affect present day Bobby (which is clearly not what happened), oh and last but certainly not least, the simple fact that when they turned Bobby gay they completely changed his personality to the standard media caricature of a gay man (flamboyant, hyper feminine, dresses like a girl, etc).
In one fell swoop, BMB destroyed Bobby and young Jean (she essentially mind graped him).
And then Bendis went to DC, took over Superman, aged Jon Kent up to a young adult, turned him gay as well and subsequently destroyed the Super Sons dynamic and book (Jon and Damian Wayne had a team up book that was extremely fun).
And that's not to count the mediocre stories he told in those books.
So that's why people hate his runs on X-Men and Superman.
Put it all in one volume, The thicker the better. I don't want to pay double.
I just want DC to finish their paperback and hardcover runs on DC titles. 😂
