Great that DB is showing on of the new runs that the Dominus Collection has brought to life lately. Hope more peopleplay the games to see if Konami fianlly makes an SotN remake for PC/Switch
So, I don't think the reason for the Latin is actually explained in plot, but... come on, it's _the Roman Catholic Church_ . They write *everything* in Latin, they're the only reason the language isn't entirely dead and buried! xD
Oho, but let us not forget the scientific community, which also uses Latin, because Latin is a written rather than spoken language and therefore immune to vocal anomalies, vowel changes, consonant variations, and colloquial modification. If that is the reason, then this would pit the Order of Ecclesia against Dracula not from the perspective of organized religion but from that of scientific rational, and Barlowe would therefor not have enjoyed the supernatural protections of faith against the corrupting evil of... Dracula...!
Guys!! I hated this game! Imo it was one of the worst iga in the series!! Its one if those game I finished and never wanted to go back too. The glyph system is all in latin so I couldnt read its description so I had to look at the pictures. The stage design was all left to right horizontal. The bosses were so infuriating omg.....
