Hey Karen, this might have already been suggested, but I've done something that makes the hood easier. Just 'permanently' attach two of the hooks by removing the hooks themselves, and then use two of the actual rings from a keyring to hold it in place. That way, you always put the hood on at the right angle and it won't get lost or blow away in windy weather.
@@darthkek1953 Yeah, you don't have to use them, there's many ways to attach. I just thought the spacing was best with the keyrings. If you tie them, you decrease the length of the elastic bit. Keyrings just seemed to act as a good spacer to replace the space the hook would take up.
Ah thank you so much!!!! I laughed editing it so thought people would enjoy them. Thought I’d better bleep out the f bomb but couldn’t find a beep so went with a boing 😂
Thanks for the tips about the hood and especially the Velcro on the zips. I’d not heard anyone mention that before. I’ve been binge watching reviews on this tent and what I like about it the most is the space inside. I’ll put up with the weight I think.
Ahh you’re welcome! Amy other questions ask away! I love this tent and have used it sooooo many times it’s just awesome! fantastic review Karen!! the best on RUclips by a mile!! subscription added .. I`ve had this tent delivered a couple of weeks ago (a few days before christmas) and the weather hasn`t played game for me to try it out yet , i don`t mind setting up in the rain normally but i`m damned if i`m getting soaking wet just to see the thing put up!! Can`t wait for a Dartmoor trip or two this year to put it through it`s paces and the thing that excites me most is the freestanding ability to move it about after it`s been erected (something my Banshee couldn`t do) and also the vestibule area for cooking (also rubbish on the Banshee) ............. P.S love the out-takes!!
Ah thank you so much!! I’m really glad you enjoyed the review and it is a fantastic tent I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!!! Hopefully the weather improves for all of us soon, I haven’t been able to get out for way too long! Thanks again!! 😃
Great user review Karen. I agree it is a fantastic tent especially considering the price. Performs as well of not better than a lot of higher priced tents imo. When I had mine I never had a single problem with the zip fortunately. I do have a Soulo and sold a handful of tents to partially fund it. I kinda regret selling the CP2 but a good friend has it now who's equally as pleased with it. I had the CP2 out in some very inclement weather and it never disappointed
Heard a few people comment on the roof edge dripping in the inner tent. Quite feasible to make an extended porch piece, that goes under your top and velcros around the 2 poles either side of the door. The initial experiment could be done with a large bin liner and gaffer tape, to work how long it need be to be effective. Nice tent BTW.
May have been a random morning but it was a great day to be outside, nice to see a bit of sun as well, I wonder where it had been. Great review and good points made and there is nothing I like more than a good blooper - opps! LOL! Cheers Alan

Thanks for your long term review! Bought this tent two days ago 🥰 Loved it from the first sight) I’ve checked out lots of other tents in thus cost segment and they never got close to this tent! It’s absolutely good 😊 bought it for bike trips :)

Brilliant review! I picked one of these up in a recent sale, but have typically been too busy since to get out in it yet. Thanks for your hints and tips, I'm sure they will help a lot on my first outing!
Ooh sounds intriguing! It’s still the best tent I’ve found by far, everything else I look at just doesn’t compare for me personally! Happy venturing! 😃
Great review, thank you. I have watched quite a few videos about this tent, and I found your video particularly informative, especially about the niggles (and how to over come them) and the hood.
I love this tent . My go to tent in warmer months in Dartmoor. Like a palace . I leave it at a paid campsite while I hike during the day. And it was fine . I will bring it out on my next woodland camp or maybe Dartmoor in March all depends on what my partner is doing. Inspired me to do a review myself and my thoughts of the tent . Thanx buddy . Happy camping. Take care
Amazing yes do it!!! 😃 I’ve just found it brilliant! First ever issue this last weekend with some water coming in the bottom but turned out my footprint had come I clipped and folded under. Also had a few drips come through the inner at the top as it was really wet and windy! Worst weather yet lol!
Hi Karen, I’ve been telling my mate ti get this tent for a while now, I’ve only ever heard good things about it especially for the price This is a great long term review and I’ll tell him to come have a look 🥾🗻⛺️❤️
Hey Karen great review! And an awesome tent I really love mine.. not so much a 4 season but it is do-able, for the money and space it is a little green palace 👏👏👏
@@ksgonewild It’s awesome, I love my Peak 2 and my Bobcat more than my Hilleberg lol.. just shows you don’t have to spend the earth to have an awesome time in the outdoors 👌
Great review Karen love the added bloopers as always (makes me 🤣). I was going to get the banshee but I'm 6'3 and this tent looks better for space!.. Paul Messner has done a cloud peak 2 review and I think it might help you out with the flappy hood part 🤞...
Ah thanks Ricky a few people have said that so I’ll have a look. I don’t think you’d be disappointed in this at all and you could always sleep slightly diagonal if you were on your own and needed more stretch room 😃 Thank you so much for watching my fellow tall friend! 😍
You could make a gutter for the rainy side door with three or four clothes pegs, the type that has a bit of a hollow in their middle part, so that the material can form a rolled edge rather than a crease or tight double thickness. Always take half a second when opening and closing zips so as not to put undide strain on them, and not to catch other material in the teeth of the zip. Nearly every time a zip gets broken or gummed up it is due to pilot error, lol!
I was looking at the Vango Banshee but seeing the amount of room in this I'm changing my mind. I'm planning to start doing a bit of bikepacking and maybe wild camping. I agree so many people get or advice to get really expensive tents which is fine if money is no object and you probably do get something for that extra money but unless your pushing extreme weather conditions there just doesn't seem much need. I just want something reliable and dry, then I can get a good sleep mat and a good sleep bag.
Honestly, I would buy this tent time and time again, haven’t seen anything else for the money that’s anywhere near close to this tent it’s amazing! I’m glad you found the video useful! 🥰
Oh amazing! As you can tell I love this tent so much!! I hope you enjoyed the vid and if you check out some of my other vids I’ve used this tent loads! Thank you for watching! 😃
Hi, I would much appreciate it if you, as a long time user could answer my questions about it: How is the wind situation inside the inner? Is it very well blocked (which means the tent is very useful in fall, less useful in summertime) or does the wind blast through a lot? Could you for example cook under the outer tent in pretty hard winds without having to worry about windshields for whatever stove is used? Do the outer doors have two zips to open from either direction or just one? I feel it would be useful to open from the bottom when it's raining to be able to vent the inside, as you pointed out the problem in opening from the top. Cheers! Thanks for your review :) Long term reviews are really the only useful kind.
Hey! I’ve never had an issue with wind blowing through the tent at all as the inner has a bucket floor design. I often cook in the porch but would always use a windshield anyway just to be safe. My stove has its own built in one anyway. The door zips from the top and bottom to get in and out yes. I use this tent all year round and love it! 🥰 Maybe I’ll do a reeeeally long term review vid 🤣😂🤣
Great video, I love the outtakes 😂 I think this is the tent I came closest to buying without actually ever pulling the trigger. We ended up with a Lanshan 2 and Opalus 3, which kinda fill in wherever this would have gone. Every time I see one though I'm tempted into looking at it again 😉 Loving the new intro, the music is fitting and the clips were well chosen too. Feels like I was expecting a "Karen's Gone Wild" bit of text at the end as the music fades, but all-in-all I think it's a great step forwards 😍
Hmmmm food for thought for sure, thanks Matt!! They are both great tents to be fair, I’ve been tempted by the Lanshan but just can’t justify it when I love the CP2 so much. Trying not to give in to temptation 😂 Thank you for watching! 😃😘
Hi Karen. Hope you are well. I’m in the market for a tent with more space. Yours looks great! My little Robens Starlight 1 is great, but tiny. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧⛺️
@@ksgonewild You taken it out in really bad weather as I want something that will stand up to at least 60 mph winds. It’s windy down here on The Mendips. The Starlight1 is great at shedding wind, just need something a bit bigger.
@@Soggz7785 personally I wouldn’t camp in 60mph winds. I’ve camped in very bad weather but would always look for a sheltered spot anyway but that’s just me. My Oke Tor camp was windy, and my camp on Roos Tor with my lad so you can how it looks in bad wind. It’s never budged and never buckled or broken in anyway but 60mph winds personally I would imagine a lot of tents would struggle but that’s just me 🤷🏼♀️
@@ksgonewild I was up on the Mendips in Storm Gerrit last month. That was 60 mph gusts. Once I was in the tent,it was fine. I’ve seen vids on RUclips featuring that tent in strong winds, for reference, and it didn’t look good. It’s hard for me to ‘pick my time’ to go camping, and the weather is just part of it, for me. I can’t lay out loads of money on Hilliburgs, etc, so was looking for a good alternative. That’s why I asked. Do you know the specs for that tent regarding wind speeds, etc?
@@Soggz7785 no I don’t, I’m not sure Naturehike test their kit in that way. It moves around a lot for sure and the hood moves around a lot too but I trust it. I can’t pick when I go either but always look at the forecast and choose my location considering wind direction and would always look for a more sheltered/protected pitch.
Hard to describe…. Corner to corner across the inner, door to door across the tent then the other corner to corner. Poles sit waaaay better then and the fly fits better. Hope that kind of makes sense!
@@ksgonewild Thanks Karen. Will try that. I have seen someone suggest that the poles should intertwine each other, ie each pole goes over one and under another. Apparently gives more strength that way. You would think Naturehike would say what is the optimum method.
@@madcat1007 I think if you look at the original instructions it kind of shows you the order to do it I think? This works for me anyway and I’ve never had any issues with the hood sitting right since I’ve done it this way 🥰
Great video Karen!! I do really like the CloudPeak 2 and know quite a few people with them that love it also. Real nice size inside with good deep bathtub floor and really like that massive pocket!! Even though I have a Soulo I dont think you really need it or other high end 4 season tents for most conditions. High up on a summit in 50+ mph winds or in very bad snow with big snow drifts & compression then yeah I wouldn't want to be in anything else. But if you're not planning to do those sorts of things then they're not needed imo. Ive been high up in some still quite testing winds and conditions in my Helm Compact 1 and its held its own. For the price on the CloudPeak 2 then you cant go wrong. Paul Messner had a coloured tag on one of the 'ends' of his hood as he said it has to fit in only one certain way to be right. So he puts it on there so he knows exactly which way to put it on. Have a look at his vids try and find it you see if you can tell haha. Dont quote me on that though lol. It is a very big tent with lots of length 😆🤣🤣 definitely a superb tent to be in when you're going to be in it a lot this time of year like you said. On the hood if the Hillebergs there is a little skirt at the bottom, so as the rain comes down is goes into it, rolls down and drips out the end so it doesn't come in your vestibule area or more. If you were handy at sowing it would be a simple fix on there I think (if you check my peak district camp by the aircraft crash site and ffwd to where I pitch the tent up I show it on there) Loved the bloopers at the end! 😝😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Take care hun... Chris ✌🏼😘xx
Thank you so much Chris, I’ll definitely check that out! Sounds like a great idea but I reeeeally need to save weight not keep adding to it 😂🤣😂 Hope you have a fab weekend lovely!! Xx
@@ksgonewild Haha no worries.. was only like 2 inches if that of guy line or another coloured cord, dont know if it would even register on the scales lol 😆 I will definitely try thank you so much and you have a wonderful weekend too 😁 xx
@@ksgonewild Hi Karen... right so dont ask me why 😂 but I woke up with a random thought in the night... "was Karen even on about the bit of cord on the corner of the hood or sewing the little skirt on it....?" 'Cus I was on about the cord Messner has on his. If you were on about not adding weight by putting the bit of material for a skirt then ignore my previous replies 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂 oh bless ya! Having nightmares about me 😂🤣😘 I was talking about adding weight with the skirt but totally got your comment about the cord so all is good 😃🤣😘
The most amusing review ever! Girl you're so funny.. also like the puns.. comes so naturely ==> but or butt I've no idea what a tent would or should cost! I had one when i was a child but just for fun and camp in our garden or at my grandparents home.. when i was older i was in a youthmovement and every year we went camping with 50people of all age in several army tents! Yes, those big green HEAVY tents! They had to set them up with 10 strong guys 🥵.. Thinking about the weight of your tent now .. i wish we had them in the past! Maybe i can post some foto's of that time in the Facebook group, if that's allright ofcours!!
I wonder if you could fold back the flappy bit an peg it so its like a gutter. Also can you not do up the velcro first before u zip up. Anyway just an idea. Love u gal, great vids. Keep em coming you absolutely beautiful human being 😊
Hmmmm not sure on the gutter idea, it may work thank you…. As for the Velcro you have to do the zip up first but once you know to make sure you do the Velcro I’ve never had a problem since 😊 Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰
Nice looking tent. I look at tents the way Mrs. Boom looks at shoes and bags - one can never have enough. I think my all time favorite tent is a canvas Whelen tarp - no bug netting so it is only good from late fall to early spring, and it weighs a lot so good for canoe trips but not for backpacking. All the minor gripes fade though when it is set up with a beautiful view and a reflector fire.
Love the tent hate the zips Still my go to tent mind Agree with the base I thought it would be like a t bag but no problems in wet weather so far You gave a very honest review
Thank you Nigel, I will always be 100% honest in my reviews 😃 What don’t you like about the zips out of interest? That’s the only issue I’ve had so far.
@@nigelrodgers820 I’ve only had an issue on the main door and actually only on one side thank goodness. Like you say, just to be aware of it isn’t it 😃
Great review Karen. 2.4 kg seems a good weight for the tent. My 4 season tent (Vango Torridon 200) is 3.2 kg, but like you I like the extra space of a 2 person tent. Funnily enough I had exactly the same zip problem in my MSR Elixir 1 tent last week. There is only 1 door on this tent, so I had to sort it out fro the inside, which was a bit tricky.
Great review Karen, love this tent, still my fav :D I keep the hood attached to the tent by one point, no idea of its the right way around or not 😄 but seems to be ok and easier to set up I keep the footprint attached too. I find the bathtub floor really thin and have punctured my mat through it before 😬 so I always use a foil foam mat now Love the bloopers, happyy saturdayyy 😘
Thanks beautiful!! Yes I’ve thought about leaving the footprint attached but keep forgetting when I put it away and dry it all etc 😂 Thank you for watching!!! Xxx
Some good points there Karen. I still haven't got round to buying one mainly because the width won't allow two wide mats. The rain off the door is a small price to pay really. The MSR's have a gutter seen in to alleviate this, but at a much higher price! The cap...Not a fan from what I've seen , but the stability is great. 4 season? Maybe 3.5 in my opinion as there is no snow skirt and by all appearances, the mesh inner panel doesn't seem to zipper to a solid panel so could see snow in the tent. Weight seems fine for the price. Great vid, thanks for the review. 👍
It's definitely a 3 season tent. That's not to say you can't use it in winter, any good 3 season tent can be used in winter in mild conditions, and I certainly have with it. The question is: can it handle winds and a heavy dump of snow? If the answer is no it's a 3 season tent.
Thanks for the review Karen. It's ANOTHER tent I want to own someday, but since moving the Lanshan's I don't think it would really be of that much benefit to me now, though I think that given it's size it might be a good option for me and my daughter when I start taking her camping next summer. I am really impressed by how rigid it is when erect (ooh er) and love the big vestibules. Might have to get one for the car!
So now you tell me you are 6'1" ???? And I am supposed to be quiet about having a crush on you????? Bloody Hell!!!! LOL ..... I just... I can't... I? HAHAHAHAHA HAHA 😂😂😂😂😂 😍🥰❤️ Sorry, I'm just a silly person. Thank you for being my friend!!!! I love your channel!!!! 😊
I have been looking into this tent since watching this and i have noticed they seem to have changed the door from this to a kind of single arch shaped opening. Does anyone know is this a different version as i dont think this arch one is as good as the opening in the video?
The arch zip on the inner is the newer model and isn’t as good sadly, mine is the T zip which was on the earlier version. So many people have said it’s not as good I’m hoping they may change it back if they do another version.
@@ksgonewild Thanks, there are still places selling the older (better) version and that makes sense why they are a little more money then. If there's no other differences it seems a strange thing to do.
Looks like a great tent. I have a Cloud up 3 which I'm really happy with but that's more for campsite camping. I do like my Lanshan but the outer sits quite high off the ground which is annoying in the wind. I would like to give an MSR Hubba NX a go however that's out of my price range. Thanks for the review Karen, it's really helpful xx
Hey I'm totally will you with those tents being too high off the ground!!for me it's an absolute no no in Dartmoor!! As they tent to have intense lowdrafts that are frosty as hell! So I would recommend going for the MSR Elixir 2!! I have done intense and extensive research(!!!) and I really am in love with that one!! It's the one I want to upgrade to! It's got even better space vestibule and the lowest rainfly that sits as flush as possible to the grown while still remaining 3 S tent!! It's not quite as low as the naturehike but it's still amazing with all its extra features and design!! Very sturdy too I believe!!
Best review of the tent so far. I had one and used it once and found it very cold....mind you I was inexperienced at the time. With all that inner mesh did you find it cold inside in the colder months? Thanks in advance for the reply and thanks for making and sharing the vid. Cheers
Ah thank you!! I think it’s just about preparing for the cold to be honest. Yes it will be cold in the colder months but I just make sure I’ve got appropriate clothing and sleep system. It’s fantastic for ventilation so it’s swings and roundabouts I guess. Thank you so much for watching and commenting! 😃
Really well! The only slight issue you need to be aware of is that it can run off the hood into the inner if you’re not careful as there’s no gutter like MSRs have. This last weekend I had some issues with water dripping through into into the inner from the top which has never happened before and that was only because it was extremely wet and windy so with all the movement on the completely sodden tent a few drops got through but nothing drastic.
Thanks for the advice with your niggles Karen, I bought one last Black Friday and have only set it up in the front room as the weather has got really bad on my days off. (Am totally new to this.) I was concerned about the base material but if you say it's OK then I'll not worry! 😂 I saw one review video a while back and they fixed one corner of the hood to the tent so they would know which way round it went - plus, being fixed it wouldn't fly away so might be something you could do? Thanks again!
Yes absolutely! Me and my husband have slept in it and it’s fine for two people! Having two porches helps for storage. It’s obviously more snug but easily a proper two person tent! 😃
@@ksgonewild Thanks! Lots of space in the vestibule 👍👍 I'm going to buy a second tent also so the hole family can go on shorter hikings with easy weather. Maybe the star river also or the cloud up 2 :) Great videos by the way, lots of good info 👍👍
Late to this...it looks like a great spacious tent for the money although I checked and it has gone up in price. Hope you find a solution to the hood problem. My first tent was a budget Argos one 😄 survived a coastal Atlantic storm when more expensive tents were collapsing all around us! Anyway, a merry xmas and the happiest of new years to you and yours 😊
They are great tents for the money aren't they. I used to recommend the banshees for beginner campers but don't now as naturehike better. Though the latest versions aren't quite so good they're still a good buy. Oh and I've got one for sale if you know anybody that wants one. 😂😂😂 I'm getting one of the expensive ones you mentioned 😂😂
😱 nooooo!!!! You can’t leave the Cloudpeak gang!!! 😂 I hope yours finds a loving home and gets to have lots of adventures 😃 what made you decide to go for an expensive one out of interest?
If you weren't such a long tall Sally, you could use the side pocket as a hammock. Great review but I wont be getting one, I don't use half the tents I have most of the time.
i don,t think its a budget tent and not a high end ond its inbetween the best budget tent is my on which was voted at 45 pounds the eurohike tamar 2 man tent with iner and outer tents a festerbuel but the cloud peak is my next tent, im no expert only been wild camping twice in my best budget tent lol no im new to it all but luv it my first camp was new year eve and ended staying 3 days and 3 nights in 3 degrees and raining and the tent was great no thats my fav tent the cloud peak 2 and my next one. great video karen you make me laugh so ill be watching you again

Really?! I’ve only seen love for this tent. Some people have a few issues with it (but there’s always personal preferences/niggles etc) but generally I think people love it. 😃
Hi Karen...Have you taken the tent and camped in high winds and rain...This I think is the only true test of a tent that is rated 3-4 seasons....I dont think your a fair weather camper or are you lol...Take Care
Hi!! Oh yes I’ve camped in high winds and rain on Dartmoor many times! I will always pick a more sheltered spot as I think that just makes sense, I don’t want to risk damaging my tent for no reason but it’s stood up brilliantly in both. 🥰

That's what I've done! EDIT : but you do NOT need to use keyrings, you can fold it through itself.
@@darthkek1953 thank you for watching and commenting! 😃
@@darthkek1953 Yeah, you don't have to use them, there's many ways to attach. I just thought the spacing was best with the keyrings. If you tie them, you decrease the length of the elastic bit. Keyrings just seemed to act as a good spacer to replace the space the hook would take up.

Thanks Karen really helpful video :)
Ah really pleased you found it helpful! 🥰
I’ve just found it brilliant! First ever issue this last weekend with some water coming in the bottom but turned out my footprint had come I clipped and folded under.

I was going to get the banshee but I'm 6'3 and this tent looks better for space!.. Paul Messner has done a cloud peak 2 review and I think it might help you out with the flappy hood part 🤞...
Ah thanks Ricky a few people have said that so I’ll have a look.
I don’t think you’d be disappointed in this at all and you could always sleep slightly diagonal if you were on your own and needed more stretch room 😃
Thank you so much for watching my fellow tall friend!
@@freeforester1717 I agree completely, definitely have to be careful when doing the zips, I cringe when people yank them back quickly 😱😱😱😂🤣😂
Love me a few bloopers :D
They did make me chuckle, glad you enjoyed them! 😃
@@ksgonewild And for that price you can over some of the more expensive tents. 😂

@@rlchardpritchard7426 amazing thank you! 😃
Hi, I would much appreciate it if you, as a long time user could answer my questions about it:
How is the wind situation inside the inner?
Maybe I’ll do a reeeeally long term review vid 🤣😂🤣
Great video, I love the outtakes 😂
I think this is the tent I came closest to buying without actually ever pulling the trigger. We ended up with a Lanshan 2 and Opalus 3, which kinda fill in wherever this would have gone. Every time I see one though I'm tempted into looking at it again 😉
Loving the new intro, the music is fitting and the clips were well chosen too.
Trying not to give in to temptation 😂
Thank you for watching! 😃😘
thanks for the tips i have this tent but still to use it
Oh you’ll absolutely love it I’m sure!!! 😍
Hi Karen. Hope you are well.
I’m in the market for a tent with more space. Yours looks great!
My little Robens Starlight 1 is great, but tiny.
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧⛺️
I absolutely LOVE this tent! For the mi et you can’t buy better in my opinion! 🥰
What is the right order for the poles? Nice video, thanks for posting.
If you were handy at sowing it would be a simple fix on there I think (if you check my peak district camp by the aircraft crash site and ffwd to where I pitch the tent up I show it on there)
Loved the bloopers at the end! 😝😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Take care hun... Chris ✌🏼😘xx

The most amusing review ever! Girl you're so funny.. also like the puns.. comes so naturely ==> but or butt
I've no idea what a tent would or should cost!
Ah yes that would be amazing, I’d love to see them! 🥰
As for the Velcro you have to do the zip up first but once you know to make sure you do the Velcro I’ve never had a problem since 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Absolutely! My happy place! 😍 love a bit of tent porn! 😂
Just got one, great advice about the zips
Ah you’ll love it I’m sure! I’ve not had a single problem since so I’m glad I was able to tell others about it 😃 happy adventuring!!

Blimey, mine seems light as a feather then! 😂
Must have been really tricky sorting the zip out from inside!!

Great review Karen, love this tent, still my fav :D
I keep the hood attached to the tent by one point, no idea of its the right way around or not 😄 but seems to be ok and easier to set up
I keep the footprint attached too. I find the bathtub floor really thin and have punctured my mat through it before 😬 so I always use a foil foam mat now
Love the bloopers, happyy saturdayyy 😘
Thanks beautiful!! Yes I’ve thought about leaving the footprint attached but keep forgetting when I put it away and dry it all etc 😂
Thank you for watching!!! Xxx
Thank you for the very informative review 😎😎😎😎
Thank you so much! 😃
Thank you so much for watching and commenting lovely!! It’s a shame your mats won’t fit as it is a brilliant tent. 😃
It's definitely a 3 season tent. That's not to say you can't use it in winter, any good 3 season tent can be used in winter in mild conditions, and I certainly have with it. The question is: can it handle winds and a heavy dump of snow? If the answer is no it's a 3 season tent.
@@darthkek1953 agreed. Plus I dont fancy being in a mesh tent in exposed snowy conditions. Spindrift gets everywhere 👍
It would be an awesome option, so great having two exits!

Naturehike tents are underrated, I've got a few and they are excellent quality for the price.
Absolutely! Couldn’t agree more!!! 🥰🥰🥰
I do love my cloud peak. My main gripe is that when it rains you can't have the outer door open as it drips straight down into the inner 🙄
Yes it’s a bit annoying but all the other things outweigh that one gripe for me.
Thank you for watching and commenting! 😃
@@davidmaskew I know, I’m not sure what their thinking is to be honest?! 🤷🏼♀️
Thank you Rachel! The MSR does look like a great tent to be fair, and really solid! Maybe oneday you’ll be able to get one! 😍😘

Oh for sure!!! I was sooo glad there was a second door 😂
Thank you so much for watching!!! 😃
How does it fair up to heavy rain ?
Really well! The only slight issue you need to be aware of is that it can run off the hood into the inner if you’re not careful as there’s no gutter like MSRs have. This last weekend I had some issues with water dripping through into into the inner from the top which has never happened before and that was only because it was extremely wet and windy so with all the movement on the completely sodden tent a few drops got through but nothing drastic.
@@ksgonewild Thank you for the info

Thanks for the advice with your niggles Karen, I bought one last Black Friday and have only set it up in the front room as the weather has got really bad on my days off. (Am totally new to this.) I was concerned about the base material but if you say it's OK then I'll not worry! 😂 I saw one review video a while back and they fixed one corner of the hood to the tent so they would know which way round it went - plus, being fixed it wouldn't fly away so might be something you could do?
