Sincerely I can relate with the man. Without being sentimental and looking at the facts in the corona year, is it true or not that people lost jobs? Not everyone owing and not able to pay at the right time is bad or wicked. If you have not found yourself losing your job which you relied on to pay back, then dont judge. As long as you are remorseful, you didnt run and you pick calls, to me you are still a person of integrity but affected by circumstances. Critically speaking, if this guy is not a trustworthy person, she wouldnt have giving him in the first place. I see a remorseful man here. He has not even committed a crime because he honestly owned up he is owing and ready to pay. That is okay by me. But judging by the comments here shows many of you dont do critical thinking. Even the food business that crashed, did you know food business is now a bad business? From 2020 till date, the prices of foodstuffs have skyrocketted beyond normal. And that is a fact. I want to believe if he has a job as the rate of unemplyment is high, he will pay up. Moreso, this is a MEDIATION COURT not a CRIMINAL COURT. NONE of the cases here on Justice Court is criminal. Nigerians need to change approach of how issues are judged on the internet. This is my point of view.
You are just defending nonsense , we know this is a civil court not criminal court so what are you saying? Did he discuss with the owner of the money before investing in food business ? Who sent him to invest in food business? His job was never in the picture when he first borrowed the money. He wasn't thinking of his salary when he borrowed the money u 7. The agreed business he wanted to do didnt work out he would have returned the money period . Some of you are just unnecessarily sentimental and selfish . What's her business if he lost his job ? Business is business. Since over one year ago he hasnt even paid 5k out of 700k . You defending this means you would do the same if you happen to borrow money. How you people sleep well at night knowing you are owing people baffles me . Me I hate borrowing and when I borrow I pause everything except feeding to pay up . Thats how to know genuine people . You dont borrow and stop picking your creditors calls or change address .
I really blame the lady for lending the guy money . Who even lends money to anyone again in this harsh economy sef ? Where the money dey sef ? Mtchewww
@@DapiaZumshakMNIOB yes well understood. Its better you dash the person a small amount of money and tell him or her not to bother paying back rather than borrowing from you & not paying back which might eventually lead to something unimaginable or even lead to the loss of the borrowers life .

But some Nigerians are taking people for granted, look out what this man is doing to this lady you invest the money another business and you are taking nonese please pay her the money.
He invested in food business... Isn't he making money from that business, rather than making flimsy excuse of unemployment? He is just be crafty. He should be compelled by all means to pay... No one should bear the burden of someone who is unreasonable and dispassionate towards others.

@@fadekeazeez4415 Oga, it is flimsy because there was no sense of reasonableness applied in dealing with the situation. Did you in your right mind consider what the poor lady had to go through just for trusting her savings with a "friend" to execute a project. In the same period of Corona, the borrower diverted the money meant for a purpose to serve a different means without the lady's consent? The food business too crashed? We all can make up excuses for our excesses. I hope you don't end up giving your savings to someone who is as stealthy as the guy, because takers would always take. They don't care. There are just lessons to draw out from the civil matter the court entertained. Such moral hazard behaviour must be dealt with. It was the same reason that triggered my statement that the borrower should be compelled by the court to pay. Someone should not carry the burden of pain under the pretext to help. There are many unemployed people in Nigeria, who are reasonable. The statistics speaks for itself. Let's embrace the culture of honesty and responsibility.

Lesson: people, don’t loan money to anyone. If you have small money that you can help someone, that is the best thing to do. Don’t loan anyone anymoney
This is man is irresponsible and deceitful,he just took the advantage of this lady., he is not remorseful at all
Ppl need to stop lending money are u a bank? Only lend what u can afford to loose. My motto is I will dash you $100 that’s urs to keep and that’s all. If ppl need money let them go to the bank. Stop lending money!!
It's crystal clear that he was taking advantage of the lady all these while. Nigerian Debtors?! They're the most belligerent set of Debtors world over cause that same person that was on his knees pleading that it's a matter of life & death would Sleep, Snore and eat the best of food that you can't eat currently and tell you that they can't kill themselves cause they're indebted!
No. He explained he lost his job. So he was helpless. He is willing to pay
@@fadekeazeez4415... And he didn't get to salvage anything from the food business he claims to have invested the 700k in to give to her to hold on to 1st ba? The whole sum went down the drain?! Except he invested it in something totally different which he can't come out to say!
Why do they all say they dont have the means to pay and that they can't promise what they dont have.
This man is heartless. Look how ignorant . He’s showing I don’t care faces. Let her take him to the police station.
Abeg God almighty you ma more strength in Jesus mighty name Amen
Stop borrowing money to people my fellow Nigerians 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I do not do business with Nigeria, I've learnt twice through family one.
Mtchewww
If you are in a close relationship with someone that you trust you can easily lend because it's unimaginable that the person will disappoint
@@DapiaZumshakMNIOB yes well understood. Its better you dash the person a small amount of money and tell him or her not to bother paying back rather than borrowing from you & not paying back which might eventually lead to something unimaginable or even lead to the loss of the borrowers life .
Neither a borrower nor a lender be. Full stop.
"For loan oft loses both itself and friend,
And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry." - William Shakespeare
Thank you jare.
U can’t promise what u can’t give 😂😂😂😂
That God I can’t give what I can’t endure
I can confidently borrow u 5k anything apart or bigger than I no do so if u don’t pay I know it’s money I can swallow and keep my distance
NEVER BORROW MONEY TO ANYONE FOR PEACE SAKE
Thank you mummy
But some Nigerians are taking people for granted, look out what this man is doing to this lady you invest the money another business and you are taking nonese please pay her the money.
He invested in food business... Isn't he making money from that business, rather than making flimsy excuse of unemployment? He is just be crafty. He should be compelled by all means to pay... No one should bear the burden of someone who is unreasonable and dispassionate towards others.
Flimzy excuses of unemployment when there is no job and people lost jobs in corona year. The way you people think ehn. THIS MAN HAS SHOWN WILLINGNESS TO PAY BACK. haba
@@fadekeazeez4415 you are just replying every comment are you the man ? You people sense of entitlement stinks . You are only feeling for the borrower what about the girl herself . Do you know what she went through bcos of the same lock down ? So you expect someone else to carry your pains na your papa or mama ? Your friends should come and read your comment and never lend you money bcos you will never pay up .
@@fadekeazeez4415 why are you everywhere defending him?🙄
If one has to borrow money to open business, you're not ready to open any business.
Exactly and he can't even pay his rent of 150 but borrowed 700😮
At least no drama.
This is why I don't loan money I will miss,
January ending he will say he didn’t manage to secure a job.
How Do Reach That Lady, She Is A Good Person
Food business 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good bless your home ma
The defendant is not wrong by investing the money into another business just that unforseen circumstances invaded his plans His core motive is to invest the money into something to make profits.
The man dont look serious not at all.
But the lady wanted interest which landed her into this mess.
When u were in job how much do you save, now you are praying, why did you not pray first.
Aluminum president in the mud 😂
