This video is about the various Black People of Asia, Pacific and Australia.
    Molluccans
The Moluccan people are an indigenous black community residing in the Moluccan Islands of Indonesia. The Moluccan people's origins can be traced back to Austronesian migrations from Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands, with influences from neighboring regions like Papua New Guinea. These migrations over centuries laid the foundation for the diverse genetic makeup and cultural fabric of the Moluccan people.
    Sri Lanka kaffirs.
Nestled in the heart of the Indian Ocean, the teardrop-shaped island of Sri Lanka boasts a rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, and histories. Among its diverse inhabitants, one group stands out as a fascinating testament to the island's multicultural heritage - the Sri Lankan Kaffirs. The origins of the Sri Lankan Kaffirs can be traced back to the 16th century, when Portuguese colonialists brought African slaves to the island. These slaves were primarily of Bantu and Khoisan descent, from regions now known as Mozambique, Tanzania, and South Africa.
    The Maniq of Thailand
Deep within the lush rainforests of southern Thailand is a unique and fascinating indigenous group known as the Maniq people. The origins of the Maniq people are shrouded in mystery, but anthropological research suggests that they are part of the broader group of Proto-Malayic ethnic communities. The Maniq people are one of the smallest ethnic groups in Thailand. Genetic studies of the Maniq people have revealed a unique genetic heritage that reflects their isolation and distinct way of life. Their genetic markers show connections to other indigenous groups in the region and ancient populations that inhabited Southeast Asia. The Maniq people often have darker skin and hair, well-suited to their forested environment.
The Semang and Batek of Malaysia
Malaysia, a country renowned for its cultural diversity, is home to the Semang and Batek people, who stand as distinct groups, embodying the ancestral heritage of the region. The origins of the Semang and Batek people trace back to the ancient inhabitants of the Malay Peninsula, contributing to the complex mosaic of Malaysia's indigenous population. These communities are believed to have inhabited the region for thousands of years, preserving their distinct way of life amidst the tides of history. The Semang and Batek people are part of the larger Orang Asli community, which translates to "Original People" in Malay, highlighting their status as the earliest inhabitants of the peninsula. Research has indicated that these communities share genetic markers with other indigenous populations in Southeast Asia and Australo-Melanesian groups.
    East Timor
Nestled in the maritime heart of Southeast Asia lies East Timor, a land of breathtaking landscapes and a people whose history is as rich as the diverse tapestry of their culture. The roots of the East Timorese people can be traced back to Austronesian migrations that took place thousands of years ago. This early migration brought together various ethnic groups, including the Atoni, Tetum, Mambai, and Bunak, among others. The East Timorese population is relatively small, with an estimated 1.3 million people. They inhabit the eastern part of the island of Timor, which is shared with Indonesia.
    New Caledonian Kanak People
Nestled in the heart of the South Pacific, New Caledonia is an enchanting archipelago that beckons with its turquoise waters, lush landscapes, and vibrant cultures. Among the mosaic of societies that grace this idyllic haven, the Kanak people stand as a testament to the island's rich history and diverse heritage. This Austronesian group, believed to have originated in Southeast Asia, ventured across vast ocean expanses, eventually settling in the Melanesian islands.
Southern Yemeni (Hadhrami and Shabwah) and Socotra Island people
Yemen, a land of historical significance and cultural diversity, is home to a multitude of ethnic groups and communities, each with their own unique customs, traditions, and identities.
    The Vedda.
The Vedda are a minority indigenous group of people in Sri Lanka. The Vedda minority in Sri Lanka may become completely assimilated. Most speak Sinhala instead of their indigenous languages, which are nearing extinction. It has been hypothesized that the Vedda were probably the earliest inhabitants of Sri Lanka and have lived on the island since before the arrival of other ethnic groups in India.

Nice commentary as usual Sir. When I encounter the progeny of the first, second, and third waves out of Africa around the globe the only thing I’m concerned with is genetics, do these melanated people test positive for Bantus including Sand People and Khoikhoi because Asians carry Khoikhoi DNA whereas the KhoiKhoi don't carry Asian DNA. The Maniq closely resemble the Bantu People.

Stop saying black people were brought everywhere as slaves but it's just the opposite. Africans are indigenous to the entire planet. We were already here. We navigated and populated the entire planet hundreds of thousands of years ago. Some of us were conquered and shipped as slaves but that was a small minority, most of us were conquered on our own land through military might and I'm still baffled at how they were able to do this. There's a piece of History missing

Because by Western and Northern European standards Greeks were considered “coloured”. It wasn’t until they had tried and failed to get Western and Northern Europeans to migrate to Australia in the numbers they needed, that they gave in and opened the doors to Greeks, Italians, Lebanese, and everyone else. And when they got here, they were treated as non-whites. They were called “darkies” and “wogs” by the white settlers. So, maybe learn your history before you make ignorant, uninformed comments? What is baffling is, these ‘genetic’ studies say that the indigenous ‘blacks’ mixed with others thus creating their ‘uniqueness’.. But, where did the others come from, if they were the first and only groups there.. We need to hear these people tell of their origin more than relaying what ‘others’ tell us of them…

    • @andretgr3at902
      @andretgr3at902 Год назад +9

Hopefully this helps, the other they med along the way were hominids like the denisovans. Humans had a bigger population, but it all bottlenecks to around 5000 people 65,000 years ago, who occupied around Africa. These people were not all the same and had distinct tribes. One of the tribed exited Africa around 65,000 years ago to South Asia, where you can still see a very brown population today, who most stayed but probably half went to south east Asia into sahul (papua and Australia). Papuan, who are the predecessors to the other melanesian groups (Fijian, solomon's e.t.c.) separated from Aboriginal Australians around 25,000 years ago, hence you guys have same unique genetic markers such as the important M 130 Gene. So they were one group before in SAHUL, but split when the population grew bigger, and for many thousands of years you guys were separated and had your own physical adaptations hence for some different phenotypic looks. However the people that got to Australia, where did they come from? Yes, you can see small populations of them across south east Asia, but where did they come from? They came from India. They were one of the first waves of human civilisation, into India 65,000 years ago, or they were maybe always in India. This is confirmed by the genetic marker being also traced there, here is a video ruclips.net/video/GRPS3oZb7Do/видео.htmlsi=TbU-ZE7wxRKFa-UJ. Just know that 65,000 years ago the human population was less than 5000 people, for some reason a lot of human did dies out, so there was a lot of genetic variation between people. The theory now is that a bunch, or tribe of these people came out of Africa, then went to India, hence you cannot find the M 130 Gene in Africa, they then stayed in India for a couple thousand years, crossing the continent, and a lot stayed, then some went to southeast Asia, a very small amount and a bigger bunch kept on going to Sahul (papua and Australia), then they stayed there and the populations separated, just like the lands, that is how papuans and aboriginal Australians came to be, then some people sailed from Papua to the islands of melanesia around 10000-5000 years ago. Another note is many indians and aboriginal people look a bit different is because of mixing from other genetic groups recently. Genetics show you 3 groups are from the same root. @@dannwan8537 I saw one video where this (white) man traveled to The Solomon Islands and he was making up all kinds of dumb theories as to why they had blond hair. One was because they eat a lot of fish! If that were the case, then Japanese people should have blond hair too, LOL! Why is it so inconceivable that it’s just their genetic makeup that makes their hair blond, nothing more, nothing less?

This just proves that black doesn't mean African, Black is just a label given to the original indigenous people's across the globe and while it's true that every Nation came out of Africa, even Israel was at some point connected to Egypt / Africa before the building of the Suez Canal and therefore is really located in South East Africa but if someone lives in a place over thousands of years that makes them Indigenous to those lands. That's why when people hear let's say >>>>>>> Indigenous Hawaiians, Jamaicans, Dominicans, some Native Indian tribes, Native Japanese, Native Chinese, Filipinos, the first Europeans. the first Moors/ Arabs, the original Egyptians, the original Hebrews etc. they never think of black because in people's minds black to them means African and that's not true. Black actually means indigenous and most people don't understand. So called black people are the most genetically diverse people on the planet all of which has different Haplogroups, Pheno types, Blood types, Scull shapes, body shapes, culture, histories, etc. so it's impossible to place them all in the same category or box and just label them all as being African, I wish more people understood that because even most Kenyan tribes don't even recognize or see themselves as the same people as other Kenyan or African tribes, neither does all Nigerian tribes see themselves as the same people, in fact their are over 250 genetically different ethnic tribes in Nigeria alone so how can people just place them all in the same category and just call them all Nigerians/ Africans or Black but I get why they do because so called black people are so diverse that if they where to call them by so many names it would confuse people and so people base blackness or black people based off skin color alone and ignoring the separate cultures and histories involved. Saying that Africans sold other Africans is like saying that Japanese sold Chinese people which is a different Nationality / Kingdom but people or what about Gernabs and Jew-ish people should they be labeled in the same category as Germans and just be called white without a background history that's separate from the Germans. Well what I've realized is that it's always Africans selling Africans without a pacific kingdoms name difference from the other and I think it has a lot to do with everyone seeing all black people as the same and not different in culture or ancient kingdoms so when they also think of lets say Egyot they don't see blackness. A lot has to change in our studies geographically and historically especially in schools. >>>>> ruclips.net/video/7WMJHhE8Xhc/видео.html

We all know it has never been about the color of your skin (unless you are Asian or 'Black' then you care a lot about the actual skin color because black ppl like more light skinned blacks for some reason, same with Asians and pale skin. Any "Whites" who were ever racist or are racist now towards the appearance of Blacks is disturbed by the actual features not the skin color. It was understandably shocking for some ppl to see blacks for the first time because of their appearance resembling a specific animal, so people just assumed blacks were primates and not that smart. Mind you, it wasn't the black skin, but the face on which it lay. White ppl actually like darker skin- this is why whites tan and make fun of each other for looking pale. Now I'm not on here saying black ppl look like monkeys or something racist like that, we all know we are humans regardless of race and we are all related and a big family, but this is the core of it and we all know it. Skin color has nothing to do with it, it has always been the monkey thing and we all know it and we are all avoiding it because it makes us all uncomfortable. None of the black ppl I know would ever eat a banana in public, this is how racism end guys. If you are black and ashamed of your appearance and are angry and need videos like this to tell you black is right and white is wrong, then I understand and feel your pain. You ARE beautiful and you don't look like a monkey. You are a human being for God's sake and you should be able to eat a banana and you go ahead and do it because why not? You are a human being and you are hungry, don't be ashamed don't let other people dictate what you can eat in public.

So many people in this video look like myself and my family members. We only knew for certain that we were almost four hundred years of Creole/Cajun ancestory before the American purchase. We had my Black American grandmother's DNA tested. Her maternal DNA revealed almost 30% of her maternal DNA are from China extending through many of the regions named in this video. East Africa led with the highest percentage, West Africa, British, and Irish rounded up the last three categories. My ancestors have been speaking loudly about the white lie. Anyone who inherited dark skin was counted as black, stolen from their lands and sold as an enslaved African. We also have traced Native American through our DNA. My previous three generations skipping my parents each lived close to a century, some more, so our history came directly told through them not a restructered telling to divert and confuse. My great grandmother lived through the abolishment of slavery period and survived over a century to meet me face to face. I have always felt her embrace.

I am AfroNative American and recently when I took my DNA test it showed 4-5 Pacific Island indigenous groups which shocked me as I had no idea some of the places and it’s people even existed. I share genetic markers with traditional Native Americans as well. Right now there is a scientific controversy where some anthropologists theory that the original inhabitants of the Americas were these same individuals inhabiting the Pacific Islands and eventually reaching South America (Pacific passage theory)…. Conversely the accepted (Asian Siberian Passage theory) opposes this. I have found a handful of other people who look like me throughout mostly the eastern coast of the United States who share this unique genetic makeup I have and they are just as puzzled as I am. I believe it’s possible both scientific positions could be correct… that an ancient pacific migration happened pre-15,000 years ago and a secound Siberian migration happened post-15,000 years ago with a subsequent admixture happening thereafter of the two groups. Of course this would rewrite history and a lot of contemporary tribes would want nothing to do with such a history for various reasons, so I am interested in participating in any studies of this ancient DNA me and my fellow sea people have to either prove or disprove the thesis. There are not a lot of us so get to us while you can if you are reading this. Right now there is a movement making things even more confusing, where people are denying the African transatlantic enslavement happened and they claim all black people always been here in the Americas… I think this is an attempt to deny our African heritage and connection but yet I fear the truth of unique ancient DNA evidence will be buried inside of such an unscientific and inaccurate historical claim. I share African DNA as well and I’m proud of it no less then any of my other ancestors Pacific and Native American or not. I ask from any reader they spread the word about people like me before the powers that be erase our genetic markers into some explanation that keeps everyone else happy at the sake of our genetic extinction.

Hundreds lost their lives because they don't want to leave their homes and land. It's now a tourist destination...Mt. Pinatubo.

Yep. I'm from fiji but.i still don't know where my ancestors came from. My ancestors have their own tribes and own chief's. All my uncle a pretty much light brown skin with red dry hair. My dad always told us that we have a uncle, but our uncle was from Solomon's living in fiji as my ancestors did. I still didn't check my DNA but when I see Solomon's I can see my picture. We all came from Africa in all different directions. As I believe that my ancestors came through Solomon's. But I still wanna know the connection between Solomon's and Papua's because I believe that I'm in between this two. Vinaka.

You do realize that your existence has largely been kept secret from us Black descendants of Africans here in the Western Hemisphere, right?
It's difficult to wrap our minds around the fact there are actually types of Black people who are indigenous to places outside of Africa

I'm stunned by all the comments from people who didn't know that there are dark skinned people outside of Africa.

This was good to see. I love the world's diversity. Although, as a South African, the word "Kaffir" through me for a second as it is considered a slur in my country. Funny how languages work, isn't it?

kaffir is an insult it means disbeliever in arab they say in a very condescending way by that they basically means demon, you'll go to hell and their obvious hatered thats why they call africans this way those who use this word on u oftentimes it'll be in a racial and condescending way.

A slur??? Call it for what it is: a racial slur, racist to its core.

It also means a non believer it's a derogatory term in the Muslim world. But hey the world is a big place. For example there is a word Chinese ppl constantly use for "um" basically that is highly offensive to American Blacks.
