Question. You cut those heads from a 2.02 valve to a 2.08 intake valve ?? Can any head be cut for a bigger valve. I have dart pro1 215cc 2.05 intake that I want cut for a 2.08 intake. Can that be done ??

Would baking soda work for lapping to check?

Could you tell me what advantages come with multiple angles? We have an old Sioux we bought for $500. We've always just done single cuts but I'm curious about multiple angles.

This really depends on the valve and transition areas about the top cut and combustion chamber, the angle difference between the port and overall valve angle, and if multiple angles on the intake seat, ensuring

We've always done 30 & 45. Never really gave it a second thought. How many horses can be achieved? Kinda getting that you want to eliminate the lip on the back side of the valve and smooth out the transition through the head. I can see the flow improvements in my mind for sure. I would imagine some cautious and detailed work could be done with a dremel to achieve similar results...yes, no, maybe???

Do you mean on the valve or on the seat?

I've seen both. The video shows cuts in the seat tapering back to the port. I read about tapering the back side of the valve on a different site.

Can you blend the new seat and the chamber together and do a back to back comparison? It would be interesting to see how much flow is lost from not blending the chamber to the new seat.

Do you cut the intake valve from the new seat on the back side.

Bought a Serdi for the shop late 80s, best investment ever.

Hey Eric I just found a vendor that supplied me with carbide pilots for my VGS-20--so excited to use them. Oh and who makes your custom cutters?

And watch it leak out the valve

Beartiful demo of how low lift flow goes down when blending isn't done around valve job [noting 0.30" and 0.40" numbers beginning 6:44]. Most people would skip this test [knowing better], and get rid of machining ridges before flow test - blending should get all that back.
