Tape is so goated for mods. It literally saved this board from being a hollow mess. I couldn't stand the sound with the dual mount so as a gasket replacement, I taped the leaf springs and used even more force break. It's almost there now. Might need to tinker with the spacebar a bit more.
I got this plate back after hypekeyboards cut a large spacebar cutout like the korn. My goal was to make it sound poppier and feel less harsh. I'm glad that it has achieved that goal.
