Man can we just take a moment to give Kano his flowers because he gave an INCREDIBLE performance. What an actor he’s become the way he’s able to convey emotion just with his eyes & facial expression is up there with the best of them.
It’s crazy how talented the brother is he’s hands down the greatest rapper in the UK & if he keeps growing as an actor like he’s done on Top Boy that man could win an Oscar one day.

7:43 excellent point. Anytime anything would go wrong someone would say, “should we tell Dushane?” And you could tell it would piss Sully off. Even in times of crisis, & months after Sully forced him out of the game, people naturally wanted to get Dushane involved because they trusted his judgment and leadership.

One thing for sure is Kano eyes are so expressive. I couldn't help but just stare while he spoke especially when he told Jaqz to not beg. It somehow beautiful yet sinster about how calm he was. Must have been one hell of a ride playing such a character you can't even hate. Side note; Netflix/writers messed up the season. We had characters acting stupid for no reason and you mean to tell me D knowing his situation would not have a back-up for his back-up plan. For example he had no other hiding place other than summerhouse and his flat to hide. Also, killing a guy and not doing his due diligence by making sure there was no evidence at the since (the idiot just poured bleach over the area like that would work) It seems at every turn shit was hitting the fan. Also Jaqz stealing Sully's "food"😅 for what? Only to get scared and try give it back. What can she do with it. Burn it 😮

Kano’s ability to convey emotion with his eyes & facial expression is second to none. You can really see in his eyes he had lost all feelings in that last scene with Stefan. You can truly see how he didn’t even know how to show love to his daughter before that.
Fucking brilliant performance. I agree the writers messed up this season but the writing was never that great to begin with. It was always the actors making this show great. I hope Kano gets an award for this.

@@harlemraider3347 I think a lot of the criticism comes from people seeing the potential the show can have, and the acting ability of the cast was never truly realised. Also, I think many people (including myself) remember the original performance from Rose Tinted Glasses ( Nostalgia) when, in fact, the writing wasn't excellent. Still, we loved the actors and it being part of our childhood.

I can agree that their was some envy there for some moments. However, Sully was only impulsive in the earlier seasons. Over time, he became intentional and very matter of fact in his life of crime. Sully did a lot of dirty work for Dushane and felt Deshaune didn’t respect him for his role in their partnership. Sully didn’t ki|| no angels. For example, it’s been so interesting how some viewers have been reacting to the Sully and Jamie situation when Jamie tried to end Dushane and Sully more than one time. But now that Jamie got that heat in between his eyes even after he was warned, it’s supposedly so messed up what happened to him.Even their childhood best friend Dris tried to get them ki||ed more than once. Dushane was just as dark and evil as Sully. That’s why he wasn’t even all that upset about what happened to Jamie. The storyline moved on to what the show is really about, the complexities of the relationship between Sully and Dushane. And I believe Jamie would have turned on Dushane eventually anyway. Who can really trust anyone to be their retirement plan that just ki||ed their best friend. Remember, Dushane said if he didn’t do it he was going to ki|| him. Dushane set him up and got Jamie locked up and almost ruin his brother’s lives. Seems to me Dushane wasn’t super pressed about Jamie actually being his retire plan - he already was finding ways to retire by doing investments so…As Top Boy, Dushane didn’t flex his evil all the time but we knew he was about that life and for the ones that forgot, in this last season, we see and are reminded that when Dushane finds himself in a sticky situation, he gets impulsive and irrational, too. Seems some viewers have such a visceral reaction to Sully because when he moves, he does so rarely with mercy. He wears who he is on his sleeve, good, bad, complex, and evil. You’d think, others in that life that know or work for or with him wouldn’t cross him if they know how he get down but they do and when he reacts he’s seen as most evil of them all but I think in that lifestyle, they are all evil. Kano is absolutely outstanding in the role of Sully. Such a very complex character. I’m sure that role made for a lot of stressful days having to tap into darkness like that for a role. Kano is a stellar artist - musically and acting. Also, Ashley, (Dushane) too. Just phenomenal work from them both. Just my little two cents. I enjoyed your review of the show. Btw, I was very disappointed in the last season, it seemed so rushed and I now understand why their were reports of Kano walking off set and he and Dushane having multiple disagreements with writers cause they kept trying to take the show in a direction that was off from who the characters were. I could definitely see it with the strange actions of Jaq. They had that character doing stuff that just didn’t make sense at all. One could argue that her actions led to the end of Dushane and Sully. ..at least for that moment.

If you watched summerhouse then you’ll know sully just wanted to be up there like Dushane. No one ever mentioned the youngers being one of sullys, it was always “that’s dushanes yout” or “we should tell Dushane”. from summerhouse till the end sully knew Dushane was top boy hence hated him giving orders because he wanted to at least be seen as equal and couldn’t handle it otherwise. That’s why he asked him to step off the roads - but eventually needed Dushane again ! Defo agree that sully never got run up because everyone knew Dushane had his back and would be after them. Without dushane sully was always alone really. In the final episode sully mentions how all he ever wanted was dushanes respect so yeahhh I think dushane was the real top boy ! Sully was just a hitman really

Big point about Dushane is that he never knew how to speak to Sully. For example after mike was killed he never explained that his hands were tied and Raef would of killed Mike regardless of anything Dushane said or did. Sully only just got a pass because because Jamane was alive, Raef got paid and Dushanes rep. Non of that was ever explained to sully, instead Dushane talks down to him. Still doesn't excuse Sully but its also a reoccurring theme.

Did you see how many soldiers the Irish had in the stables scene?
Plus it looks like the shooter had blonde hair, but could be a jacket hood.
Dont forget, if Jaq got done for murder how is she there for her nephew? She could have hired someone though.
Si was no 2 pick. Humiliation and killiny someone who was like family? What more motive do you need.
I think at the end of the day, it's not important who it was. The message is that if you live that life, it's jail or death.

Y’all don’t come from this type of life so y’all easily can be blinded by what they wanted I see a lot of me n these characters on how calculated they were
but dushane was the top boy & wanted be feared but at the same time form loyalty with a family but he was also doing for his own gain dushane was very self centered he didn’t have shit to lose killing Jeffery out of angry messed him up,
    L
Sully wanted respected & he wanted to be seen to it by everyone, he lived by the code of streets not so much the money
sully was a real roadman he rarely gave hardly any mercy. He was very calculated dushane was just the big bro to him n dushane wasn’t killing people out crazy like sully, but sully to me was smarter but dushane was more organized
They both died at their peaks of there run to eventually see that you are always food cause when you the top boy the only way is down the people will find anyway to take you down some feared them some didn’t they either fell in line or they was against them then died
