I haven’t had this cake since I was a kid, many many years ago. Thanks for making this and bringing back memories. It’s about time I make one for my husband.
Iv made this since the 70s, I buy the Graham cracker pie shell already made + I use vanilla or banana pudding along with cool whip. It is a delicious summer dessert W Banana split pie is what we call it
My best friends Mom made this for us all the time, through the years...50 + years ago ! Thanks for the wonderful memories and your time !!! 💖🇺🇲💖 greetings from Detroit.
I am a retired flight attendant and from a small town in Mississippi. Just from my town, there are 6 flight attendants retired. Every Friday night we get together for a small potluck. I have taken several of your recipes and all were a HIT but this was the biggest. Where I'm from men usually don't cook but I have thoroughly used many of your recipes. Thank you.
First time I made this I had requests from all the "lunch ladies" for the recipe! I was about 7 or 8 years old at the time. I'm 45 now! Haha. I always made it in a glass pie plate, for no particular reason, perhaps the recipe said to. Who knows! But I do recall that I put vanilla and a pinch of salt in the cream cheese mixture. Just an idea. Keep up the wonderful work!
I never made but i want to my oldest sister always made me and my twin sister a banana split cake for our birthdays and let me tell it was so so gud but dis banana split no bake dessert looks easy to cooking in da oven bless ur heart thank u 🙏❤
Going on a little trip with the girlfriends this weekend, so I’m going to make this for hubby as a treat. Right up his alley as he loves banana splits ! Thanks Catherine !!
I used to work at a senior living assisted home. Once or twice a month we'd make similar. After adding the pineapple we would either spread canned apple pie filling or cherry pie filling on top, and then the whipped topping, and fine chopped nuts or choc jimmies on top. They really liked the change from fruits and cookies or cupcakes for dessert. None of them really cared for pie, but loved this. Thanks 👍🏻
I have never enjoyed watching a family cook show as much as I do yours it is totally awesome I made this and there wasn't one piece let to put away for later We love you and think your great.
My Mom used to make this for me for my birthday. Her recipe had a different crust though. It was more of a pecan cookie crust. She also called it banana split pie.
I'm so happy to see this recipe I lost my recipe a while back thanks for sharing this yummy recipe will be making this one for sure this summer for our family reunion
I have made it for years..delicious. Some times I use Oreo crumbs instead of graham crackers. Both very good.... I like the dark bottom appearance. Thank you for sharing.
You have the best recipes! I love your breakfast casserole recipes. I watched several of them today. I enjoy when your son or husband help you. They have very good sense of humors!
Mom used to make a variation of this, and it was always delicious! I also made Mom's recipe, but I'm looking forward to trying this one. We would always soak the bananas in lemon juice to keep them from turning brown
Yum! I have a similar recipe from my grandparents. Recipe is 90 years. Minus the banana. Add strawberries. Im sure my gpa altered. Its icebox pie all mixed together except crust.
Another home run. I made this cake for my mothers bible study group. They loved it. So easy to make. I don't have a food prossesor so I used my Nutra Bullet to grind up the graham crackers. Worked well. Since I made it the night before I used....yes I'm saying it.....Cool Whip. If I had served this myself right away I would have whipped the cream. Mom didn't bring any back. And what a switch, she got to lick the beaters. Thanks for your wonderful meal and dessert ideas. Haven't had a bad one yet.
This certainly looks like something you'd serve at a birthday party or barbecue. It's festive and and rich. I'd put chopped walnuts and fudge sauce on mine, and add a touch of vanilla to the whipped cream.
Hi Catherine I made your banana split cake and my family and I ate the whole thing in one night it was so delicious thank you thank you thank you I hope you and your family have a wonderful day and look forward to more of your awesome recipes 👍👍👍👍🤗

Reminded me of summer as a kid. The ice cream truck came down our dirt road in NC on Saturday. Banana Splits were 25¢. Yes,I am 72. And that was a long time ago. Wonderful years and memories
This looks delicious. I'd skip the sprinkles and after adding the chocolate syrup add some caramel sauce.
I love the "sticky" nuts, what's a few more calories. Maybe another dollop of whipped cream. All good 😊
I’ve been making this for over 30 years and yes Miss Catherine it is delicious. Keep on cooking & sharing. Love your recipes.❤️
