Sure. Kristy has an ARB single that is wired and fuses direct to the battery. The on/off switch is activated through her switch panel. The compressor is mounted in the spare tire well, and the hose runs through a drain plug under the Jeep to the rear bumper. There is an adapter on the rear bumper. -Andy p.s. you can see this in action at the end of our Padre Island video.

Hello guys, I loved your rear bumper with the tire and galon support! How did you manage to do that? Was it a custom made piece or a pre-fab? Congratulations on your contents!
Love your channel guys! Have you guys tried the old school method of installing sparkplug non-foulers onto the oxygen sensors throwing the code for your exhaust? It has worked on every vehicle I have ever put an cat-less exhaust on when it would normally throw a code. You just screw in the non fouler into the 02 bung, then the sensor into the non-fouler. Spark plug non foulers are $5 at any auto parts store!
I have an og liberty KK that I’m gonna retire soon because it gets like 8 miles a gallon if that 😂 did you reinforce the roof or have any issues because it’s only rated for 150 lbs. I’ve seen guys weld cross members in. Im pretty sure im going with a renegade because they’re awesome and get hella good mileage even after a lift and bigger tires from what I’ve seen. I had a Tj back in my teens and hated it for anything besides the trails because it drove like shit 2.4 or the 1.3? The 1.3 has more torque from what I’ve read but adding a turbo to a rig that I’ll be taking on trails seems sketchy to men
We have both the 2.4 and the 1.3T in our fleet. We all agree the 1.3T is better all around, and the little bit of extra torque makes a huge difference. When we took the Big Bend Trip, the 1.3T was averaging about 21mpg fully loaded. The 2.4 was around 19mpg. We have not reinforced the roofs on these, but we also don’t exceed the 150lbs dynamic weight rating. If you want to check out our other channel North Texas Jeep Renegades we run some trails with both rigs and you can see the 1.3T in action. -Andy
What was the cost to bed-liner the whole Renegade? Next specific question is what would you guess the total cost to build it out? Just the jeep, not the trailer. Great video, enjoyed the whole thing, and was very impressed with how efficient and well engineered your setup was.
Is upgrading the alternator necessary for additional light bars? I know its rated 160 amps which is pretty good.. i really dont want to make the alternator upgrade as I am lazy haha
Not necessarily, just make sure all of the recalls have been completed. Also, make sure to pull the drip stick, some of the 2.4l had oil consumption issues. If it’s low on oil, I would walk away.
Thanks for the upload. Will be following this channel closely. I currently have an Outback (2006), owned a Forester before and am actually considering a Jeep Renegade as my next vehicule since I want something smaller. Downside is that we don't get the 2.4 engine, we only have a 1.0, 1.3 and 1.4 turbo choice. IIRC, you guys also have the 1.3 turbo? Altough it makes great torque, I don't like small displacement engines :( .
@@RenegadeExpedition I agree, but I just don't trust small capacity turboed engines. I know technology has come a long way, but like you guys on the other side of the ocean always say: 'there is no replacement for displacement'. Still, the 1.3 or 1.4 is what I will have to choose if I decide to step away from Subaru.
