Hello, if i remember correct it is 3.6 or 3.8mm. It is a new valve and i never measured it *lol* But i measured another one long time ago, thereby i cannot recall exact number.
Do you have any thoughts or experience with building up the needle? I could.never get mine set up right for the low end, was thinking i could solder it with flux suitable for the stainless
There are a little trick to be done if it still won´t clean up on idle if running good on all other parts. To the side of the throttleblade, botton part. You can file a small notch that allows air to go beside the metering rod. Thus making the air that travels over the rod, not picking up as much fuel. But beware,, very very small notch is needed. You can also do it another way, between carburetor and engine you can put an hose somehow, with an adjustable restrictor in the end, and then route the other side of the restrictor into between carburetor and air filter.
Nice 👽👍🏻

And, no i haven´t ever built up material on the rod, as it often just is to lower it, and then start over with the grinding =)
