Wow, this Tag/Fip Journal would be amazing if it was 12 pages with a tiny calendar on each Tag for a Folio so you have a history of your year and all your writings in one place. I think I want to do this!!!!! Wonderful Journal, your amazing!!!!!
This is one of the most beautiful journals I’ve come across. So glad your channel popped up. Just had to subscribe to see what other cool things can be created.
So I watched the other two linked videos......got totally confused and came back to yours....which is so well explained and demonstrated I feel as though I may be able to do it myself! 😂🤣 Thank you so much for the way you explained your tutorial. New subbie 🥰
Thank you for the time and effort it took to demonstrate how to make this tag journal! It is lovely and yours is so neat and so well done. I think I will give it a try, but it will take some practice before it turns out nearly as perfectly as yours!
Thank you so much! I think you will be surprised by how easy it is. The prep can take some time, but overall, it is fairly easy. I do hope you will try!🥰
That Kroger card template is genius. The way you cut each corner a different size and use it as a guide….Brilliant. I’m going to use this trick tomorrow and make my own. ❤
Beautiful! I found this video and knew I had to subscribe to your channel. I especially love it because you leave lots of opportunities to write in. I think some junk journals get carried away with the 'junk'. LOL Thank you!
Loved it so beautiful, I will try to do this, however I am just a baby in Journal making, just learning wish me luck this is my peace time, since husband has cancer and his is moody with me, I cry alot but try to take time for my self..thanks again..
This gave me an idea for a journal I'm putting together for a friend who's moving. I don't know why, but I really don't like the pamphlet stitch. This is a great alternative, and I think this will work out much better. Thank you for sharing!
New subbie here. Thoroughly enjoyed the flip through and the journal. I love your style and how you present everything in such a calm voice. Loved the finished journal and now anxious to make one myself. Patti
Me again! I finished watching and needed to tell you i also liked your calm paper backgrounds and the added writing space signstures. I'm inspired to make one like this! TFS 🤗 (again!) PS I subscribed 💐
Hi new crafty friend! I haven’t been a subscriber for too long. I don't remember since when. My memory doesn't function too well now days. I love your endless tag journal! You've explained it so well and I've been inspired to make one. Thank you so much for the great tutorial! Happy Mother's Day 🎉 💐 Blessings ❤️ p.s. I went to your Etsy store and purchased a couple of your digitals. 😊
Thank u so much for this tutorial. I would like to echo a previous person said, and say yours is by far the best tutorial I have come across to do this type of project, and one in which I will def be having a go at. Your channel just popped up n my feed, so new sub ie here. Xx
I can't tell you how impressed I am on several levels. First, I just want to say that your gentle spirit is so refreshing. I'll be back to watch other videos you may have uploaded and look forward to learning more from you. Also, I absolutely love your roses journal papers. If that's your own design, which I think you mentioned it was, I'll be visiting your shop very soon! The simplicity of your tag journal is so impressive. I look forward to making several as gifts. I do have three questions about your muslin spine pieces. Did you use interfacing between the two fabric layers for each spine? When stitching the signatures in, did you reinforce the holes with perhaps Fabric-Tac? I wonder if the holes wind up fraying otherwise. Finally, what stitch length did you use around all your tags? Thank you for the inspiration! ❤❤❤
Wow! Thank you so much for your very kind comments! The Roses Papers are mine and they are available in my Etsy Shop. I did not use interfacing between the two pieces of muslin but you certainly could if you were concerned about the strength of the fabric. I use a fairly tight weave muslin so the two pieces together were strong enough. I did not reinforce the holes with Fabric-Tac or any other type glue but again, you could if there was a concern. I did not see any evidence that the fabric was going to fray where I sewed in the signatures. For the stitch length I used 3.5. I hope this is helpful and again thank you so much for your comment...very sweet!🥰
Ooooh, thank you for replying, Karen (that's my name as well!). I have muslin and quilting cotton and linen, so I think I'll experiment with all three. I like how your muslin does not detract from or overpower the design of the book, though. Oh, and I found your roses papers and will print them today. I'm sincerely looking forward to this project! If it turns out as nice as yours, I'll upload a flip-through and tag you, Karen. ❤ Thanks again. ❤ @writeoutloudstudio
I LOVE this idea! You explained it so well too! At first I thought that that was too many pages glued together, but after watching the video I understood why. I'm really going to try this icea and thanks to your tutorial, I believe I can do it! Thank you for sharing this video! 🥰 New subscriber! 💕
Hi, the links for both sets of papers are in the video description box. One of the paper sets is mine and is available in my Etsy shop, the other set is a 12X12 paper pad that is available in Hobby Lobby. Thanks so much for your comment and I hope you do give this project a try! Super Fun!🥰
It can be printed straight to card stock! Great question! I will add that the quality of print you get on cardstock may not be as vibrant as printing on good quality paper...but it will save you a lot of time to print straight to card stock.
Thank you!🥰 I found the corner punch on Amazon. Here is the link -www.amazon.com/Jeemiter-Laminate-Cardstock-Business-Scrapbooking/dp/B0B8YSM4KW Hope that helps and thanks for watching! ~Karen
Thank you! 🥰 I printed the kit papers out on 32 pound paper and then attached/glued & sewed to 110 lb. card stock. You could print directly to card stock, but the colors may not be as vibrant....depends on the printer and quality of paper. Hope that helps and thanks for the question! ~Karen
Hi ! This is my 1st time seeing one of your videos. This is sooooo cool! 😎 to tell you the truth I think it is ok you had trouble w original beautiful pastel papers journal, because the neutral one you showed tutorial of is gorgeous. Question: could I create this flip flop by printing each tag on one-sided card stock instead of gluing paper to cardstock? No criticism meant. Thx for a wonderful project. I have subscribed to you. You can do this for sure! Just give it a try! Thank you so much for watching!🥰
To avoid confusion on my part I had to number the back of my tags (1-16). This really helped me to keep the sequence straight.
What a great idea! I will have to do that with next one I make! Thanks!🥰
Just so lovely 🥰 it happens to be that I bought a lot of card bases for less so I know what to do 😎 🙏🏼🧸
