Ty, worked! If you're still having issues keep learning his moves & dodges. As you survive for longer, finally there will come an attempt when the bleed will be massive, the stagger will be perfect & your summon will decide to show up.
For those who want to try powerstancing: You can only get the bloodfiends arm drop ONCE! do not make the mistake of farming for it, because you will not get enough without going into ng+. Instead, use another infusible colossal weapon, with a blood affinity. I used the rotten greataxe, since it has rot buildup. Alternatively, have it with frost instead for three statuses.

Also I’m higher level so 25 faith for golden vow and flame grant me strength. Also white mask and verdigris. I was doing it with both summons so it was way harder but I managed to get it after like 2 hours

amazing build! Beat radahn on my second attempt after switching to this. after going through and clearing the remaining bosses I ended up swapping out great jar and ritual sword talismans for two-handed sword talisman and lord of bloods exultation for more damage and I had enough endurance to wear my armor and weapon :)
I built this whole but for some reason his poise was just not breaking. I summoned someone called “melina” lol, who had a completely different build using a shield that she enchants and man.. she took huge chunks of his life consistently! So finally got that shit out the way! I could see this working, as the blood loss was huge, but still need skill.. which I lack lol
killed last boss with like 15 arcane, it is total viable with tear. just you have to spam heavy charged attack. ty for this build. I can finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe.
Speaking from someone in NG+7, none of my builds did enough damage in a reliable amount of time until this one. The blood procs on this are way too good. I ended up switching things around ( like 2 handed talisman instead of alexander shard etc.. ) but thanks!
Thanks, this helped me beat him and the fight didn't feel too cheesy. Still died in the second phase maybe twenty times - a big ass shield was my solution. I also used different talismans - not sure why use Shard of Alexander if it only applies to skills, or does it boost something else? Ashes of War / blood infusion should be commented in the video. Great guide in any case.
Hi Guys, I was at NG+7 and watched so many tutorials and tried so many time but, couldn't beat him so I made my own build and I beat him in several tries. The main Component is - SCARLET AEONIA You can use a high poise armour to tank his attacks(or at least try to) and use, (Talisman) DragonCrest Greatsheild Perldrake +3 Shard of alexander Godfrey Icon (Buffs) Golden Vow Flame, Grants Me Strength Blessing, of the Erdtree Lord's Divine Fortification Main weapon - Bolt of Gransax Story - So, the scarlet aronia eats through his health even if you are at NG+, you need to cast it a minimum 3 times in all three phases(3rd on is after he comes from the sky). I know it's harder to keep up with his attacks and bullshit but, you only have to cast the incantation and ran away across the map and heal. And if you are willing to use the mimic summon it will be very helpful. I was so stressed out, that's why i wanted to help you guys out. if I didn't do Shit with this message I'm Sorry Anyways, DON'T GIVE UP TARNISHED YOU CAN DO THIS
can confirm: this weapon might be the cheesiest thing in the dlc. Obviously, however, you will do nothing against bleed-immune bosses, so have a backup. Alternatively (and this is what I did on my first run thru), spec your build for Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword (which is super fun to use, but will scale more with str than arcane), and use this as your backup when you're struggling so you don't feel super cheesey all the time.
Thanks man, his second phase was driving me insane. Tried this and killed him on third try. And not even feeling bad, what a shitty designed boss to end up otherwise incredible dlc. What were they even thinking
Brother when I tell you I was throwing myself at this big hunk of crap for hours and hours until I decided to say screw it and cheese it. Within 3 attempts of doing it your way he was dead. 30 seconds... 30 FRICKEN SECONDS is all it took using your build. Good shit brother!
Thanks for this vid bro it helped a lot! I don't like using summons but I highly disagree with that second phase. It's almost like it's overly aggressive for the sake of being overly aggressive.
This worked for me after 3 tries. First try I forgot to upgrade the weapon itself. lol. I still got him down to 40%ish health which I knew it would work after upgrading. For everyone saying he doesn't stagger for them, I feel like that's just the game sometimes. He staggers quite a bit for me, but if you have issues, just walk away for a bit and try again. Make sure you're doing standing heavy charged swings as well as that is the most effective thing here. I was already running an arcane build before this so this feels a lot less cheesy for me than the other methods I've been seeing as this still requires good timing and dodging.
Thanks For Build I beat him but im here to mention some things for people Instead of ritual sword use lord of bloods exulatation its op with this build and i wanted to note that shard of alexander is useless do to u using heavy attack and not skill / ash of war and i prefer using phsyick flask using the crimson crystal tear and opaline bubbletear and lastly use morgott great rune and activate it using rune arc for huge buff for hp around like 800 lastly using heavyattack while stand because moving and using it not gonna do as much as while standing
Did the exact same thing, and was doing 1200 damage per hit with no bleed. I’d hit him 4 times in a row and still no bleed. I genuinely don’t understand how this is so easy for people.
I find the lions claw skill to be more reliable with stuns. But if you're high level stuns are going to be very rare. Just beat him with this set up and I only stunned him once in first phase, never in second
The new update screwed this method up completely. He doesn't get knocked down now. I've been at it for a hour now and only got the chance for 1 critical which didn't even actually do anything because in the middle of the animation the cutscene got triggered.

very nice build! enemies that are grabbing/being grabbed cannot be damaged by other sources and that's why you missed during his grabbing your mimic.
Thank you. Didn’t stagger as easily today but the bleed did the job no problem.
Thank you. so much just did this build got him in around 15 tries, cause I was getting to greedy.
nice!!
Holy fucking shit, it took me like 10 tries on top of the 20 I put in with my normal build, but this finally did it for me. Thank you.
amazing build! Beat radahn on my second attempt after switching to this. after going through and clearing the remaining bosses I ended up swapping out great jar and ritual sword talismans for two-handed sword talisman and lord of bloods exultation for more damage and I had enough endurance to wear my armor and weapon :)
Thanks for this tip, got him after 7-8 attempts. Had done some 15 tries prior and only managed to get him to 25%.
Was only able to beat him after Combining this build with the Fingerprint Stone Shield, got him first try with such build, TYVM!!
killed last boss with like 15 arcane, it is total viable with tear. just you have to spam heavy charged attack. ty for this build. I can finally rest and watch the sun rise on a grateful universe.
Still work pretty well after patch 1.12.3 ! Took me about 4-5 attempts. Thanks a lot !
Speaking from someone in NG+7, none of my builds did enough damage in a reliable amount of time until this one.
The blood procs on this are way too good. I ended up switching things around ( like 2 handed talisman instead of alexander shard etc.. ) but thanks!
Thank you it worked. Had to say goodbye to my moonsword greatsword.
i used darkmoon for soooo long, love it
This actually help me beat him after an hour and a half and 3 other builds, thanks man 😆
Thanks, this helped me beat him and the fight didn't feel too cheesy. Still died in the second phase maybe twenty times - a big ass shield was my solution. I also used different talismans - not sure why use Shard of Alexander if it only applies to skills, or does it boost something else? Ashes of War / blood infusion should be commented in the video. Great guide in any case.
This actually works! Thanks, I even changed some talismans to make the fight last a bit longer lmao
Hi Guys, I was at NG+7 and watched so many tutorials and tried so many time but, couldn't beat him so I made my own build and I beat him in several tries.
The main Component is - SCARLET AEONIA
You can use a high poise armour to tank his attacks(or at least try to) and use,
(Talisman)
DragonCrest Greatsheild
Perldrake +3
Shard of alexander
Godfrey Icon
(Buffs)
Golden Vow
Flame, Grants Me Strength
Blessing, of the Erdtree
Lord's Divine Fortification
Main weapon - Bolt of Gransax
Story - So, the scarlet aronia eats through his health even if you are at NG+, you need to cast it a minimum 3 times in all three phases(3rd on is after he comes from the sky).
Huge thanks for the video! This build indeed secured my first victory over this boss!
BRO THIS BUILD IS BROKEN ASF. Got him 2nd try with this strat. WOW mind blown lmao
nice!
Omg thank you so much i was so close on just giving up this has helped so much
Thanks, it worked. He only staggered once, but the blled did a number on him
thanks did it on my second try with this build
Got there in the end! Thanks chief!
This build saved me thank you bro
Thanks For Build I beat him but im here to mention some things for people
Instead of ritual sword use lord of bloods exulatation its op with this build and i wanted to note that shard of alexander is useless do to u using heavy attack and not skill / ash of war and i prefer using phsyick flask using the crimson crystal tear and opaline bubbletear and lastly use morgott great rune and activate it using rune arc for huge buff for hp around like 800 lastly using heavyattack while stand because moving and using it not gonna do as much as while standing
I would switch out the sword talisman for the axe talisman. Or keep the sword talisman and replace one of the defensive ones for full agro.
Subbing because this build actually helped me beat radahn 🙏
Thank you bro finally beat him took a min to finally find my sweet spot but I got it
Nice build bro , i beat Radahn but i might do a NG+ to try this build out
This dude made me use the perfume build
Solid build man, thank you! Second try.
Did the exact same thing, and was doing 1200 damage per hit with no bleed. I’d hit him 4 times in a row and still no bleed. I genuinely don’t understand how this is so easy for people.
Sanity restored. Thanks friend. Honestly was still a pain but it did the job.
After a full day of trying different builds and failing this one did it, first try. Broken problems require broken solutions
How the hell did you stagger him in the second phase? I literally am using the exact same setup as you and he didn’t flinch…
Same for me
I find the lions claw skill to be more reliable with stuns. But if you're high level stuns are going to be very rare. Just beat him with this set up and I only stunned him once in first phase, never in second
Just defeated him with this op built, Thank you ! Hardest boss i have ever faced
I had this exact same build but i remembered im in ng+4 so most of these guides are not helping as much 😭
How is it 228 bleed buildup I've got mine to plus 25 and it only does 128 bleed
Cause your arcane is too low
infuse with blood
The new update screwed this method up completely. He doesn't get knocked down now. I've been at it for a hour now and only got the chance for 1 critical which didn't even actually do anything because in the middle of the animation the cutscene got triggered.
My hits never stagger and rarely do blood loss. Idk if this was patched recently.
Its not patched. I just did it and staggered him twice.
Can you explain why you didn’t choose savage lions claw?
Im on NG+3 and can confirm this build shreds him.
thank you sir, thank you. Took 2 attempts, hate this boss but I did it. Thank you
nice!!
@@jaybeezyx that bleed over time makes a huge difference, I was on ng+3 and I was blown away how much those staggers did. Very well done
Great build man!
