Mind telling me why? About to put a little down payment on one from a family friend who takes good care of his vehicles. Only selling it because he got his wife a Porsche. Everyone is telling me to be careful about buying it. It’ll be my first car 😂
@@leonchen89 thanks for the reply. 2 weeks with the car and my coolant flange busted lol. Luckily my insurance picked up my vehicle and it’s a n easy cheap fix. Hopefully she doesn’t give me anymore problems. It was plastic now I’m going to replace it with aluminum
Tom your reviews are very good! informative, entertaining and you talk about things which are mentioned by nobody else, thats what i call a in depth review, Good Job!
If you're reading this... you've either bought or are thinking about buying a 2011... just bought my second used one. Try to find them in the 60/80k mileage range that have been well maintained... water pumps and expansion tanks should have been replaced, or you'll be doing it. Only pay between 8-10k for the mileage above, and only if its equipped well. Sports pac, premium pac etc... my first is now over 160k miles (sons been driving if since 110k) the second which I just bought has about 87k miles... the previous owner garaged it and took good care of it... its not as fast or handles as well as my Macan S... but for 9k, with new bridgestone' tires (RFT), a new water pump and a spot on detail job... I'm pleased... drive it... don't overpay... and watch out for beaters... good luck.
Hi, I want to ask about a X3 f25 m packet 11/2012 2.0 diesel with a lot of kilometres about 380.000. The previous owner had made maintain service in a specialized BMW workshop and it costs almost 6.000€ in 28/07/2022.. is it worth to look this kind of car with this kilometres? Is in good price..
My husband just bought me a 2011 and I was heartbroken after me not thinking about heated seats at the time. It’s summer now. But I’ve heard in 2 videos it does have heated seats and steering wheel which I’ve never heard of. My car didn’t come with a manual. Guess I need to go figure it out lol. It’s my first BMW.
Great review! I love the trunk capacity in toilet paper roll packs! Made me laugh, but is also wayyy more informative than other reviewers saying "xxx L of trunk space"
I cant get over how poor the economy is on cars in America. Why get such a big engine? The X3 in Ireland and im sure the rest of Europe is capable of 50mpg with a 2.0L Diesel, your not getting half of that!! So bad for the environment.
Fuck the environment. Save that shit for Korea, this is America where we invented the automobile. No one whoever drives one should ever criticize an American. It probably drives Europeans nuts that we’re allowed to put our guns in the cupholders and drive around legally getting 8 miles to the gallon.
BMW...take away the leather and expensive finish and you have a maintenance nightmare of a Kia. Save $20K and buy a fully loaded Kia and send Kids to better college.
This particular year and model is the best used X3 to buy! The later year 28i engines were a disaster.

@@yodad6542 it’s all due to the engine. This one is the n52 in-line 6. Later ones were the troublesome n20 turbo 4.

Those tend to be options (especially the steering wheel) so check the book online and see.
Driven Car Reviews yes mine doesn’t have heated seats. It came from Texas. I guess it doesn’t get cold enough for them 😂 thanks for replying back!!

If only you’d known
Push it to the Limit 😂😂😂 yes!!! X3 is perfect for the COVID toilet paper and paper towel haul! Although I’ve not been able to find that many packs.
Does it have a rear view camera
Those are mandated by law now
Great review
They don't offer it here.
Should I buy this car? 🥴😬😬
fair review. thanks!
"End of sermon!" LOL .. good one!

Who cares.
The fuel economy is fine.
It’s better than my v8 doing 15 mpg
