    I love watching your techniques as someone who prefers hand building to throwing. Beautifully shot and so peaceful as well.

    I love your technique. To me, hand building is so much more interesting than the wheel. Slight imperfections make it so much more visually interesting. Thanks for the great video and calming music in the background.

    Hello, greetings from Iceland, the other side of the planet! I like your videos, they are both informative and relaxing. And no, the sound of rain does not bother me, it makes the video even more nice. The bowl is lovely, I am going to try to make one myself. Thank you for sharing. Take care! 🙂

      Thanks so much, Linda! Glad you like it because I actually like it too when it rains. It feels like just me and the pottery. Hugs from Indonesia! (how I wish I could visit your beautiful country someday) 🥰

    Love the pinch marks you leave on your work instead of smoothing it out.
    Reminds me of the beaten copperware.

    So nice to see you! Thanks! I ‘d asking about the stamp, what kind of the stamp is it? Acrylic? with this technique slab plain , Could I make a round vase? Thank you!!!!

    • @SadurStudio
      @SadurStudio  3 года назад +2

      Yep, it's made from acrylic. And yes, I believe it's possible to make a round vase with the slab because clay can do anything! Just give it a try :)

    Hi, love your pinch work! I was wondering what type of clay you use to hold the shape ans texture so well?

    • @ladyw6773
      @ladyw6773 3 года назад +1

      I've wondered this as well. Part of me thinks it's harvested or wild clay, not necessarily manufactured clay.

    • @SadurStudio
      @SadurStudio  3 года назад +5

      Hi! I use a stoneware clay and actually it's from a manufactured one. The key here is the clay have to be not too stick and not too dry, so they can create beautiful texture from my fingers. And I usually wait for several minutes or maybe 30mins to 1hour (depends on the pots size) before putting the next coil above. It helps to hold the pot shape well (they got harden a bit) so they would be stay like that even after I put the next coil.
      I hope I answer it enough. And thank you for asking! :)
