  • Follow us as we install various metal trims, cut the metal, and finally install the siding on our tiny house. We used a galvanized mini rib with cedar accents to prevent the build from being entirely industrial.

It has been way too long! Between full time jobs, school, other channel production, and a need to keep building we took a bit of a hiatus from releasing videos. For those who are wondering, we are currently almost done with the wall boards which means next is the ceiling, stairs, bathroom, and cabinets/appliances. THAT'S IT AND IT'S DONE!

Get a bed and a composting toilet in there and you are ready to move in! Congrats!

TIY: Tiny it Yourself that was awesome. I love your house design and the look of the cedar against the metal. Great video.

Wow, I wasn't sure about the butterfly roof idea but now with the siding on it really adds character to your tiny house. I like it.

Gracias y animo 🌍.

Thank you so much! I'm currently right in the middle of putting up metal siding on my tiny house and I couldn't find any super good resources for how to put it up. But this covers everything I missed! Can't wait to see how you two finish up the place

Also, love how you've trimmed all your windows in wood then did the J-channel. Looks cute in an industrial way, not just super industrial. 🤙🏼

Looks great! We are about to start building our walls and I want to go with a similar exterior. I'm thinking a white and cedar color scheme and a white metal roof to help with the California summer heat. I don't remember if you guys mentioned it but what is approximately the length of your tiny house? We got a custom made trailer that is 21ft long and I'm sure you can imagine the headache the has caused in terms of blueprints lol. I had to teach myself framing in order to make my own blueprints. Fun! Do you plan on doing your own plumbing and electrical? Can't wait for more videos!

You know Profesional installers would have cut things a lot looser and with a lot more play or "Slop" You did an awesome job on this I'd love to see the finished product....... 😎 !!!!!

So beautiful! Is the top trim piece necessary (cedar)? Or could you put the top J straight into the stud and leave it just like that? Again, so stunning!

Lol. So much for 60/40 rule. Hilarious videos. It's my favorite series on how not to build a "tiny house" on wheels. Top heavy, front heavy, hell just heavy! Started off good with the metal studs then introduced heavy ass OSB then metal siding with NO latex caulking. Best tornado magnet on RUclips. Can't wait to see you pull that shit down the highway. Lol.
