Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that he expects the situation in the Middle East to stabilize in the coming days.Araghchi stressed that yesterday's attack Tehran conducted against Israel represented the country exercising its right to "self-defense." He added that his country asked Sweden to convey a message to the United States that Iran has "no intention of continuing" the attacks and urged Washington to "step aside and not interfere."Earlier, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated the attack was a response to Israel's killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, while Israeli officials threatened to respond to Tehran's missile strikes with a "significant retaliation" that could include attacks on oil facilities.
Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree announced on Wednesday that the group carried out a military operation, hitting Israeli military sites with cruise missiles. He claimed that the missiles reached their targets successfully. The attack comes after Saree's announcement on Monday that the group will retaliate for Israel's attack on Yemeni power plants and oil facilities on Sunday. The Houthi spokesperson also praised the Iranian military operation against Israel and said that Houthis are ready "to participate in any joint military operations against the Israeli enemy."Saree also commented on the "continued support" of Israel by the United States and the United Kingdom, saying that it "puts the American and the British interests in the region around fire zone" and that Houthis will not hesitate to expand their military operations against Israel and "those standing behind."
If Iran is so concerned about Gaza, why did they send advisors to Assad and allow Hezbollah to assist the Assadists in murdering thousands of Palestinians in Syria, driving thousands more into fleeing abroad again? 🤔

Launching nearly 200 ballistic missiles in response to a few of your proxy mates getting killed seems a bit disproportionate, no? All Iran managed to accomplish was killing a terribly unfortunate Palestinian in the West Bank, who was crushed by falling rocket debris (the video is pretty disturbing). It's almost emblematic of how Iran views the people caught up in their proxy wars: they couldn't care less as long as they get to lash out against the Jews or the Sunnis. If Iran cared about the Palestinians, they probably wouldn't have allowed their lavishly-funded proxy Hezbollah to massacre Palestinians within Syria or help Assad create such terror that it drove hundreds of thousands - if not millions - of people from their homes.

Israel attacks two terror organizations of the worst kind, and Iran - which has not been directly attacked - attacks Israel in retaliation. This shows two things: That Hamas and Hezbollah are Iranian dependencies, and that Iran believes it is entitled to just attack another nation that has not attacked it directly in any way justifying that. I expect Israel to not just retaliate, but to strike crippling blows on Iran, not just playing a game of mutual escalation but taking this opponment of theirs out of the game for good, eliminating the Iranian nuclear armament program in the process. That would btw. be the best for the peace in the middle east and on a side note for Ukraine too, since that would mean no more Iranian arms for Russia.

I wish Israel will not respond to Iran now, because Iran just want to do something to compensate Hamaz n Hezbollah.
America is full responsibility for this, uk Europe
100%. A lone voice in Australia
100% Iran. Iran invaded Israel in October 7th. Iran attacked Israel from Lebannon. Iran fires ballistic missiles into Israel. Every part of this is Iran's fault.
@@Lubnara764 the American people have not been in control of their own government for 60 years. Ever since the deep State murdered John f Kennedy and installed their puppet Lyndon Johnson who immediately escalated the Vietnam war.
Eight of the last 11 presidents have had direct ties to either the CIA or the deep State military industrial complex President Eisenhower tried to warn us about.
Now they don't even try to hide their existence anymore. The Democratic party doesn't even have primary elections. They just insert whoever they want and squash whoever steps out of line just like the current mayor of New York. WE ARE IN A LIVING EMBODIMENT OF THE BOOK 1984 COMBINED WITH a matrix movie style false reality and have been for the last 60 years.
Seems Israel wants to leave fighting forever... they shall miss peace
😢 they said 400 plus missiles and 99% intercepted 😅
Bricks for biznss,G7 , NATO for wars, that's d #
"Israel is on a roll " 😂😂😂😂
Very balanced analysis
Www3 starts from last night
It's a small conflict. On the worlds stage it doesn't mean anything
Do a proper Job sky news! Massive strike on Navatim Air base and Tel Nof airbase as well on Gas fields, why double standards?
Zero casualties and no lost aircraft. That is a massive strike? Also what gas fields? Israel does not have any onshore gas fields.
Just another day in the middle east?
With US intervention
Isreal has land and no support should be provided to Isreal from western countries because Isreal is only thinking of themselves not of interest of others
The western redefined middle east.
@@ALGfunk yeah they seem to like that.

Obviously. Oil and democracy. They love to help other people with tanks
I thought the UN was suppose to keep weapons out of southern Lebanon? Maybe the UN is now equal to the league of nations?
Iran run out of patience enough is enough
Michael!
Sending thoughts and pagers to Iran 🙏
The ICJ Clarification of July 17, 2024 clearly states:
1. Israel must leave all illegally occupied territories (Gaza, West Bank, East Jerusalem... GOLAN HEIGHTS)
2. Israel and supporters of the illegal occupation are obliged to make reparations (US regime, UK, Germany...)
Are these lads taking the piss? Israel stoking the flames of war
How much did that fireworks display cost the US taxpayer , wake up America
*Yet how much would it cost the USA if the whole region is destabilized ?* Much, much, much more. The global economy would collapse if it did.
Be serious , the ME is already in a broader war .
Well at the moment it's just Iran and Israel.
(Note, Hamas and Hezbollah are just Iran)
Dose anyone believe a word that comes from sky news
Don't watch it then
Those stupid experts 😂
I'd like to know how the RAF were involved in shooting down ballistic missiles with planes that are not equipped with the radars, fire-control or with munitions capable of doing so?
Who cares what you´d like to know?
Saw a huge mansion with nice cars, it belongs to someone, but God gave it to me, so I'm taking it, when the owners come for their property, I'll just cry that I'm a victim, I'm not a thief,
Israeli intelligence is excellent. He forgets to mention Israel has the support of the "5 Eyes " along with military support of the US. Any country with such support would perform exceptionally well.
What nonsense!
Iran operations called snowball operations, every retaliations will be retaliate with bigger retaliations
