Thank you. 🙏 I try my best not to enrage the RUclips audience who think I speak too much, say too little, don't play enough, and when I do play - it is not anything they like! It will be condensed, but hopefully, I won't leave too much out. 😄
Yeah? I got this Airmotion pro sent to me to test, and there has since followed a couple of really significant updated, to their device. Some curves choice for the sensitivity settings and a BLE update that makes it possible to skip the dongle, and a few more! See to that you update firmware before testing. 👍
I have the Tec BC and love it for my PC… but I’m so desperate to find a simple breath control that can purely be plugged directly into any MIDI port lol Haven’t found any single option I can use for when I’m playing directly in & out of Roland’s GR-55 pedal (that is to say, any option that isn’t old/used and costs way too much money)
Great video as always! Do you have a video where you talk about your WiFi setup for live gigs? You mentioned it briefly around the 5:50 mark on this video. I’ve watched most of your videos, but can’t remember if you talk specifically about this setup. Thanks again for all your wonderful content!!
Thank you! 🙏 No I don't have a video setting up the (Panda Audio) midiBeam yet. I mentioned it in previous videos (years ago) when that was my go-to setup, but since there were no follow-up questions, I didn't do a video on it. This is a coming project on my Patreon page though. 👍
@@lofileif Thanks for the quick response! I remember you mentioning to get the best response from MIDI Guitar is to plug straight into interface with cable. For some reason I thought that meant wireless would not be a good idea for live gigs with MIDI Guitar ... now I'm curious about wireless again! Maybe you were talking about not using pedals in front of interface.
Yeah. Personally, I don't have a problem with a wireless setup (Wifi) for either (or both )AUDIO and MIDI (different systems though). I haven't felt it affect the playability (latency-wise) at all. The advice is still, no pedals and stuff in front of the audio interface. 👍
i find the breath controller a bit over priced to be honest. i do have one. It also snapped when i uncoiled the hard pastic thing that went around my neck, it's teh poor way they package it for shipping. the hard pastic you have to uncoil it by literally flexing the pastic so mine cracked.. we really need a new one on the market.. i wish you the best.
I can agree with you that they are a bit pricey. But that, of course, depends on how much you use them. I use mine for a couple of hours every single day, so I don't see it as a problem. And I haven't experienced getting the TEControl controller out of its package as a problem. Mine came in a padded envelope, and although I have heard of someone cutting the very tiny USB wire while opening the envelope, this is the first I have heard about anyone snapping it. But I don't doubt it happened. Did you talk to the developer? The Papritech device doesn't have a bite sensor, but i does ship with a little (hard) case. So maybe it is interesting for you. Keep a lookout for my coming review on the AirMotion controller, for some more info on it. 👍
That was a LOT of useful information in a short video. Thank you!

@LofiLeif you are always ahead of all of us!!!!! Thank you!
Thank you, Bruno.🙏 Much appreciated.
Panda Audio - rulez
Andras Szalay - genius
That setup is the only one I would trust to perform with. 👍

You tested M-VAVE(CUVAVE) ms-1 (wireless MIDI system) ?
@sepic5407 No. Never heard it.
Sounds good Leif. I've had the PapriTech for a few months but I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet!

Leif, the MacGyver of midi guitar!👍

Have you looked at the Kenton USB Host? kentonuk.com/product/midi-usb-host-mk3/
Try to find papritech
Papritech is great for systems that can use Bluetooth. The GR-55 however needs something else/more.
@@lofileif it has USB version
