Its funny your avatar is a Prodigal Sorcerer cousin with glasses and a Sapphire Mox necklace. Bees and elves hate him while first striking friends love him. I like Sea Shanties very much. " I´m a Drunken Sailor in a shaved with a rusted razor belly. ...Early in the morning." XD Next song i´d like to hear talks about Belly of tea.
What a great match! I used to run 4 Juzams in a lot of my type 1 tourney decks. Weenies were not so popular back then in my area, probably because of the number of moats and abyss.
The first game perfectly shows the problem with Juzam: no trample, no flying makes it very weak to chump blocking and then it's doing you 1 damage per turn. Very clever playing by Tim!
I love watching these games so much! And sidenote, Three-for-One Trading is a cool sponser --- I've had really good experiences buying cards from them (shipped to Canada)
When the Royal Assassin hit the table I thought "Tim is toast, monogreen can do nothing against that". And then he Whirling Dervished his way into victory.
what is up with that Erhnam at 28 minutes? Is it super beat up or did someone try and modify the border? from the deck photo i would tend to say it has seen some love but maybe someone can enlighten me ^^
The Mox Pearl is white-bordered, lol. Playing out Scrubland right at the beginning was a mistake. If you don’t need to cast white, don’t play your precious white dual land. 7:06 Small mistake tapping out first to cast Juzam before attacking with Hypno. 8:41
@ I’ve never seen that deck in actual 94. Juzam doesn’t become played at all until Fallen Empires comes out and introduces Hymn and the first pump knight.
I´m a 90´s player. had those cards in my hands. I dont know about new cards and rules today but I enjoyed this video and i could understand every moment the how and why. Is there any Pc game containing those cards and rules? Old man would like to play its old control, no counters, deck again.
@@tantalotantalo6241 I tried and I know the game but I can´t find any download link with a working version today. Deckbuilder works but the free roaming map does not, neither the rest of the game. Thanks, maybe somebody knows.

Timmy’s commentary is legendary. Thanks all
👊
Beautiful decks and nice games. Congrats Old Man Tim :)
Those Dervishes were so satisfying! It's like getting actual counters on your Sengir!
🍻
Green deck in the finals, let's goooo!!!
Wish OS was a popular format in my area, win or lose I'd go to them and have an absolute blast.
It’s all about the gathering 🍻🍻🍻
Same. Online is good 'n all, but it doesn't beat playing in person. Same goes for RPGs.
19:15 -- It's also a perfect answer for this season's holidays.

Abtss is a card you see a lot here as well. The Robots deck is very popular.

True, Maze is another killer for these creatures.

GIANT GROWTH for the win!
Anything past revised to me is basically super modern. I agree, choose 1 or 2 colors and let’s go!
🙌
I don’t play Magic, but I love watching Old school games. Would love to get involved one day. (Playing Sorcery Contested Realm now)
When the Royal Assassin hit the table I thought "Tim is toast, monogreen can do nothing against that". And then he Whirling Dervished his way into victory.
So cool that he plays a Royal 🔥
Can I get some extra Os in the "Oooold School Magic" intro for Christmas? 😁
😂 Maybe some Ho Ho Ho, I do have some extra episodes planned for the holidays.

i bet your moxen are all black bordered
It’s great to see such a classic deck in the finals.

I'm sure that bugs him as well, but that's an entire WB P9 or two for the price of single swap to BB P9.

Look for shandalar, is against the computer and the ai isn’t the greatest but it’s fun!

Is black lotus banned?
No, I played it in my 60 🍻
Why would he need to keep Pendlehaven untapped to block Black Knight with his Dervishes? Aren't they pro-black?
Probably to kill the Knight as a 2/3
@TimmytheSorcerer ohh makes sense
Wow! Nice game.
