We made our community vote for one deck to represent each year since 2010, recruited 16 Pauper Experts to play a 5-round tournament, and now we bring you each match of the Top 8. Felicia is playing Andrea and either Goblins or All That Glitters could be knocked out of the tournament.

Guys... they put that card for this kind of situation, he did just the obvious, Andrea is fucking good but that was not a genious play from him but a missplay from Felicia.

I am really happy to have seen Felica (hope that is spellt right) more on the channel since I always thought she was a blast and especially that she got the the finals with GOBLIN. And if you remeber I was the student that recognized you at the Schwules Museum.
She's a delight, funny and charming and I love the way she explains things, always provides the perfect amount of information without breaking the flow of the game.

ATG is a broken card, but he only played it once, it would still be a great afinity deck without ATG.

Protection vs hexproof.
Protection stops you from doing things to your creatures also!

Just wanted to compliment you on the editing, easily the cleanest and best paper MTG videos out there. This series has been a blast.
Crazy how the newest deck is the one with banned cards and the oldest one, that made it through the entire tournament no less, has none!

That was so good with the Acolyte using it on opponent's creature. I use put Vines of Vastwood in sideboard for those types of plays. Love it.
Also Legacy tournament next would be a banger

That world be so good. Yes there would be a lot of counterspells but it would be so good to show that all the broken things cancel each other out so you really have to play good magic to win.
Legacy and Vintage are 2 of the best formats (or at least they used to be, haven't kept up with them since the last Vintage Super League). So I'd love to see those :)
I'd love to see this for Legacy and then a cross format tournament with all of the winners from each to decide the most competitive format in magic
It's always a good time when you open your youtube app and the best pauper deck finals is there in the top of your videos
new series: 1. best control deck ever and it's all four hour long videos of control decks from different eras playing each other, 2. best RDW deck ever and it's all five minute long videos of whoever was on the play winning.

Chatterstorm I think also has a pretty good claim to the title, but sometimes the cards don’t go your way. That’s how tournaments are. Goblins getting this far seems like a small miracle to be honest.

I love Pauper! It's crazy how often decks from over a decade ago have such nailbiting matches against the newest decks. Hope we can expect more Best Deck Ever videos! The only idea I have would actually be awful, which would be the Duels of the Planeswalkers decks. They're so bad 😭

Edit: on a side note, when the match was about to begin and the girl was slapping the table franticly in anticipation and looked at the camera, I imagine her looking at the camera thinking,"omg I made it to the finals, look where I am!!".

I know new cards have the "your creature" targeting restrictions for various reasons, but it's interactions like this that made me really like the non-restricted versions.
Also! This probably isn't a good suggestion for a Best Deck Ever series, but I would love to see some 3-Card Blind Magic from you all.
This was a great series once again, it would have been great if it had gone all the possible games, but still a very fun finals.
For other formats that might be great with this 'best deck' series I would love to see Vintage, or Pre-Modern. All the old cards would be fun to see. Vintage has the insane power, while Pre-Modern is bit more of a medium power level that shows off a lot of old fan favorite cards that you don't see anywhere else but cube.
Love this series. Would 20 years of legacy, or No-Banlist Modern be possible formats in the future? Keep up the great work 👍

I wasn't really interested in Pauper before, but this tournament was a (Galvanic) blast to watch! And consider this a +1 for the "more Felicia content" train!
I know I'd like to see this but with the Commander format. You could go full cEDH but I think Duel (1v1) Commander is kind of underrated and wouldn't mind it getting some love on this channel. It might also be easier to pull off than doing 4-person pods over and over.

Great video, and a really tight last game! One quick note though - the video description says that Felicia is playing against Thoralf, but unless Thoralf has adopted a new Italian accent and has suddenly become a Questing Druid aficionado, I don't think the description is correct.
Would love to see a version of this concept but limited to singular standard sets.

I personally feel confident enough that with the first match the better plays would be to use the chain lighting, and lightning bolts on the gingerbrutes and glint hawk, or declaring a block and removing the Myr enforcer as you would not only remove the mana filtering from springleaf drum, but also deminish the board presence to keep the pressure up with the goblins. Even taking into what Andrea had in hand, I still feel like that's the much safer play, as your trading card advantage for board presence on your side which I'd argue and say is the better play for an aggro deck.
I've seen several times on arena where a card doesn't say "target creature you control" and is still only that I control
That is because Arena has a lock to prevent new players from .making obvious mistakes :) you can unlock it and allow you to take all game actions by enabling "Full Control" by holding down control + shift
I loved the series! But what i enjoyed the most was the outstsnding wardrobe of Andrea...it's stunning ❤

Hi Cardmarket! I'd love to see you try Tiny Leaders out sometime. It's really changed a lot since its heyday now that there are so many new commanders for it, and it's a blast to play. It plays like a cross between CEDH and Legacy nowadays, and it supports a huge variety of archetypes, from aggro (with Yoshimaru-Rograkh) to control (with Lagrella the Magpie). You can find a regularly updated ruleset and banlist under the name Tiny Leaders Reborn.
That play was slick. 100% I would've missed it.
