I too obtained over 40 games legally 🤑 but seriously modding my new 2ds xl was the best thing I’ve ever done, and It only cost me $10

Modding cost me $0 😎 but then I upgraded my SD card so I guess that means it was 25 dollars

@@gaymeiwell 25 for a 128 or 252 gb is not bad 5 usd is mostly a is a fake b is low gb and If you want a lot of games on a 3ds just get a big sd card I recommend 252 gb from the store like a big name one
12 years later, and i'm so glad people still love this console as much as i do! it was a staple of my childhood, and probably the reason i wear glasses today..
[1:22] i love the way the blue version of the 3ds looks, but, i'm loyal to my red 3ds that i got in christmas of 2011! (i still have it!) i was also way too young to use the 3d feature, iirc, i would have been 4... im 16 now 😬
[2:38] i think limeplayer might be a reference to limewire! im not sure if you ever used it, but it was a mp3/music piracy site. i remember my dad using it frequently to download songs for my mp3 player.. not sure where that went.

[15:50] i still have my physical copy of 3d land, it was one of my favourite games to play when i was younger, aside from tomodachi life. i don't remember how far i got - i'll have to check later!
[19:09] i forgot about nintendogs!! i remember the hours i spent mivering my family to buy me every nintendogs game i saw, even though they were all practically the same 😬
eventually, my dad resorted to obtaining the games by.. completely legal means.. and shoving them on an R4 for me. every night, i'd make sure i said goodnight to my virtual pets, and leave my 3ds on charge next to me.. even though i had an irrational fear that nintendo were watching me sleep through the camera 😂
i've since lost that R4, and my physical copies. i wonder what would happen if i returned to them, all these years later?

for video ideas, you could try to fix your broken trigger!
for random 3ds games ideas, you could try some rom hacks for the earlier pokémon games! my brother is a huge pokémon fanboy, and collector - he has a special edition pikachu gameboy colour, (with pokemon yellow), 2 other gbc's, a gba sp, and a gba! he owns a bunch of other stuff too, like og ds', ds lites, dsi's, etc. i think he has every pokémon game, leading up to gen 8! of course, now that he's in university, ive continued his legacy and now have the games he doesn't.
you can get physical rom-hack cartridges, too! a lot of them are really cool, and have amazing concepts and quality-of-life additions... but the only one we (me and my brother) collectively own is one called 'pokémon cock version'... with a lickitung on the cover... i've never played it, nor do i want to 😅

update! i checked my 3d land case, and both it and nintendogs + cats were inside! i checked both games, i ended up making it to the end of world 5 (i don't think i could beat the bowser fight), and i checked up on the pets.

I just bought myself a Gameboy Color and a DSi LL, from Japan. My first Nintendo handheld device, and I'm 33...they weren't available in Romania when I was a kid, my girlfriend would say I'm turning into a kid when I pick them up :))

One day i saw a Video of someone playing Minecraft
on a 3ds My mind was blown i asked my mother for a new Nintendo 3ds XL
for Christmas BUT i did not know i needed a micro SD card nor did i know what that is lol
so i had a console that couldn't do much and my younger sis got a 2ds XL for Christmas
AND it came with Mario kart and it had a micro SD card pre installed when she got it
I was SO jealous until my mother came home with one and you know the how it goes installing one.
The reason why you can’t play snes games legitimately is because they wanted people to upgrade to the new Nintendo 3ds
Hshop is so clutch... i download everything i can from it and i don't care.
Is the audio actually bad for you on 3DS Sound? I recently changed my audio from Surround to Stereo in settings and noticed it sounds clearer, my music sounds great so might help.
For some reason, when i exit friends list, internet exporer, notifications, it stays frozen on the white HOME screen. You know a simple fix? Or maybe its more complicated?
They chose not to include snes and gba because the game and the Virtual Console wrapper were too much for the system.
I dunno about that but my og 3ds is able to run snes through an emulator.
@@ahlbiurgaid61Probably with some slowdown though. There’s a reason SNES VC was never done on regular 3DS. Nintendo’s SNES emulator is pretty good from what I’ve heard though, pretty much every inject works aside from Super FX games and Chrono Trigger (which, you can play the DS version for the latter)

What size sd do you have?
How is the screen size on this 3DS? It’s obviously smaller then the XL, but would you say it’s okay to play games on?
Depends on the game, I usually find the screen size alright but the physical size of the 3ds can make my hands cramp after a little while so for that I might get a grip or XL

Any Recomendations for a GBA Emulator? im Using mGBA But the Studdering it causes is outright trashworthy.
I just use the twilight menu that plays nds games to play gba games, only problem is the gba emulator had stretch options this one doesnt seem to have it, but at least no stuttering
For most games I just download the virtual console copy from hshop. Only downside to that is there’s only the high profile releases so a lot of the more niche games aren’t on virtual console
