A truly interesting topic. Some time ago I watched a Japanese movie called Love and Other Cults (or something like that) and they had a black minor character. He rarely actually spoke and there was such a noticeable difference in they way they dressed him compared to the other Japanese characters around him. It was almost like they wanted him to portray the disheveled, clueless foreigner who just gets dragged around by his Japanese friends. Even mixed jpop stars like Likiya from Exile Tribe get minor acting roles in the High & Low movies compared to the rest of their group members and are given mostly English scripts even though I'm sure they could speak Japanese at a decent level by then
hi, may I ask, can I be an artist without proper trainning but willing to be trained and be fully commited working with you at your agency? is it possible?
Thank you for this, it was so interesting and fun to learn about these experiences! :D

This is a great topic. I found you on facebook. I am an USA actor and wanted to see if there were any opportunities to get some work.
Well I can tell my dream is to become a great actor and live in Japan
