- I'm going to break down my setup and experience for extracting all the off-grid power from the 4xe. It''s not so easy to do, but @Jeep might have more tricks up their sleeve for 2024 that FINALLY delivers this highly sought after capability.

I installed a 1000 watt inverter and second 12v battery in my 2023 Rubicon trunk. Zero issues! On long road trips I just keep it in e-save. Great video
That is awesome!
YES! Great video! So happy when I got the update to latch electric mode, but I can't tell you how many times I've jumped back in the Jeep and forgotten to reset the e-save to preserve the battery during long trips (such a bummer when I noticed the depleted battery during the last camping excursion)!!! Saw Brad's video at the Jeep proving grounds and there WAS mention that the 2024 models have improved the regen capabilities, so I'm hoping this will be backwards-compatible for earlier model years.
Unfortunately I don't anything prior to 24 gets the upgraded features. Everything sounds like it is dependent on upgraded hardware. The increased charge rate sure is intriguing.
That 2000w inverter will kill your battery if it doesn't support 80 amp or more continuous output and you use more than 1000w for 15 minute a few times.
1000watts is A LOT!
Great video. Planning to do something similarly but with an inverter mounted in the back so I can charge my ecoflow delta2 at speed (1200w/h) when I am out exploring with the jeep, then have a full delta2 at camp. For your AC you would just need a bigger model (such as a sept pro or delta max + extra battery - or one of the equivalent bluetti’s.
Several folks have done the same!
I believe the Tazer has a mode that lets you get the halos off for camping.
it does!
"Distracted by a wife asking a question" --- There's only one question that could be SO distracting that would allow a man to forget to push the freaking e-save button, bro. When this happens -- handle both buttons proudly.

E save will not charge over 95% however on the freeway it seems to charge quickly for my 2024 Willy’s and I rarely use the hybrid mode because it will drain the battery pretty quickly and I say our Willy’s usually stays in the mode we are in after returning to it but sometimes and I mean sometimes it will go into hybrid mode
Jeep did let on that the'24 model would recharge much quicker in E save.
Great vid. Better info. Best people.
Have you ever thought of doing this with a suped up Porsche?
Buy one and FIND OUT
@@ROMRreviews you know what? I just might.
Bro….. you’re killing me. Really??
Great vid. How are you ensuring that the 17/kw is providing continues power to keep the 12V charged? My understanding is once the car shuts itself off at 30 min mark, then you are drawing power only from 12V and 17/kw is not providing power. What was your work around? Someone disconnected their door harness to fool the jeep in staying in "run" mode. Thanks for any help here.
The door disconnect has been working for us
Great test! I have a 2024 4XE with the power box. I was going to test it on my 30 amp RV using the 15 amp adapter that includes a surge protector. I have no intention on using the air conditioner but would love to be able to power the lights and the 12 V fridge. The surge protector wouldn’t allow the power to flow because the error light came up that said no earth ground. This makes sense to me because there is no earth ground on rubber tires, but is this really a problem?
Very interesting
What about the power box?
It's a '24 feature only
@@ROMRreviews I have a2024 4xe Willy’s
Cool video but total click bait title
Not for our use case.
