So happy to see this recipe! I grew up on the Central CA Coast and when my dad would go clamming (quite often actually) we had clam fritters for dinner! Even with the added egg in the batter, my Mom’s had those funny bumps and ‘fingers’ on them as well...but we loved them regardless. Thanks for my trip down memory lane. Blessings to you.

Thanks for this! I had clam fritters on our vacation to Cape cod a few years ago at Liam’s Clam Shack on the beach. Dipped in tartar sauce, it was the best seaside snack ever!

Looks great I'd eat them😎. In RI, a company called drum rock they make a fritter mix, which Rocky point used, and I use but use coughog juice instead of clam juice like..... Can't mention name of resteraunt. You can get drum rock online. Use for any fritter, even blueberry, chocolate chip, zucchini ECT.... 👍

    Can you use fresh clams?

Yes, you can, and fresh would be preferable to canned (which I use for convenience).

Always love your cooking! So happy to hear you are in CA like me! FYI, you cannot get to your website with the link you provide. The real link to your website is: white-trash-cooking.com/ For your Info, You can put "MobileHomeGourmet.com" in your info area, but then make the link to white-trash-cooking.com/ and it will go to the right place. Otherwise your fans will be going to an error page. I will try this recipe the next time I shop!

Try not using the paper towel and use a cookie rack.

Those look pretty good. I've had Rocky Point (amusement park, Warwick R.I.) clam cakes and Iggy's (Oakland Beach, R.I.) and yours look just like those...even the Mariana Trench one. BTW, you have to dunk them in chowda.
