It's what hooked me into medieval rpgs all the way back in 2006. Sure I had played a bunch of other medieval fantasy rpgs and mmos but Fable really sparked the interest.
Also, I don't know if many people notice, but I noticed this eerie thing in Fable II the other day. When you go to wraithmarsh, (the place where the remnants of Oakvale lay) every now and then you hear a snippet from this music piece, and then it switches back to the main music. It happens every now and then. Quite eerie.
I cried so much when I got there with all the prior hardship experienced, then waking up in that beautiful place young again and seeing Rose.. Such a remarkable game they made!
In a perfect world, there would be no sadness, no hunger, no disease, and no pain... But every shred of hope and dignity must be sacrificed to create this perfect world...

i remember playing fable 2 on my own. my brother didn't want to help me play the game so he said i could play it after reading the manual and boyyyy did i read that manual!! fable 2 will forever hold a place in my heart as the game i was able to play by myself!!
every time I listen to this I realized how much I miss rose and when I beat the end of the game I chose love because I miss my big sister and my dog. Ps I will always choose love because at least I know rose is alive as well as my dog
I was slightly disappointed by fable 2 and moreso by 3, but I will say they all shine in their storytelling, and thats what made them worth playing, even if they werent the best.
I remember watching a friend play the intro to this game and always remembered it. When I was old enough I bought my own Xbox 360 and this was one of the first series I played. Since then BioWare games and Dark Souls series and many other amazing games have shown me the most precious things. The hard work that goes into making a game and still each game having a circle of players who know it inside out. Still after years I remember a music box melody and fall down another rabbit hole, one more adventure good or bad.
'The perfect world' yeah It was just that being with my sister again, having a good home and generally having a life that was robbed from ya. But when try to go to sleep and you hear that music box....you know for certain, it was time to go....
Anyone think this should have played when you meet Reaver, since it was Oakvale's theme and he's the reason the village is gone, left to be ravaged by the Banshees
When I was like 8 or 9 I would just sit on my couch for hours watching big brother play it until he finally gave me the game and it has been my favorite video game ever scene. (yes I know I didn't say "my big brother" I just like to call him that.)

Albion is an evolving world and Fable is just a tale of this world full of magic, 1,2,3 are all one single great game. I would like to see the story of Scythe (William Black) and how he destroyed the Court (The Queen of Blades, The Knight of Blades and Jack of blades) and begin the Old Kingdom, I wonder if when Theresa become an Archon, Scythe died. Maybe a "Fable: The Old Kigndom" but then I would be sad because of the destruction of the Old Kingdom, or maybe a new hero that need to save not only Albion but the world in the Void and then both worlds become one, or one featuring Nostro and the creation of the Heroe's Guild!!! we could see the first Lady Grey :D Anyone else notice that Scarlet Robe is the Banshee in Fable 2, that was so sad. sorry for my bad English :c

There. I asserted my opinion now too. I'm tired of seeing everyone saying that the first one is the best and I've decided it's time someone say differently.
I liked Fable three because it introduced me to the fable series and because it has a long story. The problem I feel with it, personally, is that there's not enough to do and the world feels empty in the end, no matter what you did. It would've been awesome to have a new game + type.
Youre missing out... Fable 1 is way better than the other 2 + journey combined... Try Lost Chapters on PC/Xbox360 or the upcoming Fable anniversary if you really cant stand the graphics (which were one of the greatest of its time).
I think it really depends on which you played first: I personally liked all three but always find that the first wins out because it was where I started. It has good memories and, also, it has more of the pure fantasy element that I love rather than the touches of industrial punk that creep in near the end. The use of firearms, for example, was something I found not to my taste because I favour sword and magic fantasy. Though you're right in the fact that Fable 2 was an awesome game! It got the balance of the three I think, a bit of 1 and a bit of what 3 was going to be.

Spend that time grinding and building up money, buying all the real estate you can to turn a profit. Basically, become a real estate mogul and save the world through the power of private enterprise.
Can't really feel why is everyone complaining about financial problems in fable 3. I just went away for like 10 hours from home and left fable 3 on so upon my returning I had more money than I could have spent.
I tend to give up on fantasy type games, because they're too long to keep my attention. But this game kept it all the way through. I loved all the characters, the story, and all the small details that made it wonderful.
Warning spoiler allert The part in the game when you get shot and go to * a perfect world was soooooooooooooooooooooo creepy i was having a chill in my spine :'( and when you se those dead people with burning weapons in them red sky and rose screams terrified NOOOO i had to take a break that was creepy as the cat shit on the floor every morning D:
Fable was the best. Fable 2 was the second best. It was centered around the darkness in Albion. Even if you chose the path of light, darkness still overpowered. Fable 3 was a mockery. I recently bought Fable: Journies so I not sure if its good yet or not.

Oakvale was meant to be the home, the safe spot in that dark world, and in fable 2 there are only ruins left. Oakvale has been eaten up by darkness and it’s the domain of the court of shadows.

I can look past them because the game is great.The third part..well they took a lot of the replay value from the game when the decisions you make only affects the environment and the character just in to 2 ways,so beating the game 2 times is more than enough to see the full game.Too bad they could've expanded the game to extreme,have lots and lots of secrets,like they did with Castlevania on Nintendo Handhelds.

In my opinion, Fable 2 was the best. I didn't like Fable 1 that much, Fable 2 is my favorite game ever, and Fable 3 was disappointing but playable.
I was slightly disappointed by fable 2 and moreso by 3, but I will say they all shine in their storytelling, and thats what made them worth playing, even if they werent the best.

I can look past them because the game is great.The third part..well they took a lot of the replay value from the game when the decisions you make only affects the environment and the character just in to 2 ways,so beating the game 2 times is more than enough to see the full game.Too bad they could've expanded the game to extreme,have lots and lots of secrets,like they did with Castlevania on Nintendo Handhelds.
You can make them pretty easily

if anyone can answer this, that'll be great. If u played Fable 3 then heres the ques. On road to rule, whos the lady whos there when you unlock another gate then she says some stuff then disappears. U can't see her face though.
The subtitles say Theresa. Its the Hero of Fable 1's sister, and the Hero of Fable 2's mentor.
