I recently picked up the iPad mini and have enjoyed it for flights and other misc use cases, but i keep finding myself going back to using my iPhone 15 to be my primary on the go viewing device because of the screen so this makes me wonder if I should try an oled ipad
It’s certainly a big commitment for the price, but for me the new iPad Pro is also my main computer so it’s been super worth it. I’m on it practically all day every day haha. I’m a huge fan of OLED, I used to mainly watch on my iPhone for the same reason.
I disagree in that it is too expensive. At the moment it's like an RTX 5090 for cinephiles. It is the best experience you can have but it is too expensive to be enjoyed by the general public. To be the Steam Deck for cinephiles the iPad Air needs to be OLED. At the same price it currently sells at
I think that’s a fair criticism. My honest dream would be for them to roll this display tech into an iPad Mini. Especially as gaming on Apple devices gets better, it would be a nice set up. In its form factor, I believe the Air is an actual 16:9 aspect ratio, where the pro isn’t. So I think you’re absolutely correct in your assessment.
amazing
The video decoder is also faster on the iPad than any Snapdragon tablet
Wesley remember me when you hit 100k.
