Thanks! I have to say that this area was too shady and my bromeliads were not so bright and colourful after a few months! Find somewhere brighter for bromeliads.

I tried your method for a living wall. I almost paid to have a felt pocket system made. I’m so glad I did not spend a ton of money for the felt pocket system. Your method is so much better and the metal grid I bought was only $7 US dollars per panel. I made the living wall myself and it looks absolutely phenomenal!!!!!! You can’t even see any of the nursery pots the plants came in. Thank you for your tutorial!!!!

@@leafing.around Thanks for your response. Yes we do have tropical plants growers here. It is just that Garden Centers are currently still closed at least till mid March. Hopefully the measures against C-19 will be more relaxed after and GCs will be allowed to open their doors again. If not, then I have to settle for webshops option.

Just wonderful. Really loved the application of the designed principles.
This knocked my socks off. I LOVED how practical you were, finding different affordable solutions and adapting along the way while retaining a sense of the aesthetic. I learnt so much, including your (to me) totally refreshing approach. I’ve been overthinking this and not getting anything done, so I’m off to find some sturdy wire mesh (I may or may not paint it in the short term) and wire up a heap of old black pots and raid my stash of propagated but unloved hardy tropicals. I can worry about auto-irrigating later!
Yay!! And try keep the wall colour and pot colour about the same! But if not don't worry, if your plants are lush will grow and cover the pots anyway. And and another tip! Pot them in such a way that all plants have the same watering frequency need. I just water all everyday....and so they are in very well draining mix.

I am from the Philippines. I love your vlog on vertical garden. Your so kind to show how to inovate on how to use that ordinary pot in a vertical garden. I want to use my ordinary plastic pots with plants already in it. I want ti declatter cause my pots are on plant racks and on the floor surrounding our house including the garage. I have a lot of plants cause i am a plant lover since i was a child. I want to try a vertcal garden and place it around the cement fence we have. I am so happy to accidentally viewed your vlog. I don't usually appreciate vligs from other countries as they don't have the same weather such ours. But we are neigbor country and i am so happy to note that. Our plants are almost the same and if ever we may not have all kinds of plants from your country and visa versa. I love tropical arrangement and that makes as one.
