- There are VERY FEW master planned communities that feature a brand new 18 hole golf course like this one does! Houston Texas has a ton of golf courses, but many of them are located in older communities. The Highlands in Porter TX has a brand new course called Highland Pines.
It's less than 2 years old and is already ranked in the Top 25 courses in the State of Texas. And it has ONE feature that NO other course in the country has, Zoysia greens. And the golf course is just one cool amenity located inside of The Highlands.
This community is a huge master planned development being developed by Caldwell Communities. With 14 different builders actively building homes, there is something here for everyone.
The community will feature a water park, tennis & pickle ball courts, parks & playgrounds, fishing lakes & hiking trails and even has a designated tent camping area along the San Jacinto river.
If you are looking for a new home in an amazing community featuring a top ranked golf course, this is the place for you!

Really nice homes in quiet communities.

Would you be doing an Updated Tour of MERIDIANA Master Community South of 288 . Thanks
One of my favorite channels I subscribe to. But when the hell are you going to upload to 4k? I want to see more details! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the compliment! I’ll ask my editor
@@livinginhtx And get Keith a raise so he can get a new phone. He's been busting his ass doing great camera work.
@@1wallymack haha why does he need a new phone?
@@livinginhtx so he can shoot in 4k, 60fps. Lol, 😜 .
@@1wallymack he has the newest one lol maybe he just needs to change the setting. Do you watch on your tv?
Kyler, where do you buy your shirts from ? Nice shirt 👕
What kind of golf cart do you own Kyler

The Evolution D5 Maverick with custom seats and rims and tires
@@livinginhtx how much
How much are HOA fees approx?
$1420 per year
Ac cost per mnth and taxes??
3% Taxes. TXU gives the best plans for electricity.
What is the tax rate?
Just over 3% and expected to come down over the next few years
lol the higher taxes offset's the competitive price
@@healer81 the tax rate will come down over time, sales price won’t
@@livinginhtx there's no fixed schedule on how much and how fast. I'd be nice if people had a structured breakdown so the home owner can manage their finances better.
@@healer81 it’s not fixed, once you have a homestead exemption the appraised value of your home can’t exceed a 10% raise in value annually. Usually the tax rate goes down over time and the appraised value goes up
I have a feeling that 45 foot product is overpriced
those are tiny lots.
GCP BETTER !!!
I live in GCP and love it but this golf course setup is sweet!
@@livinginhtx so the only thing they have over GCP is the golf
@@Thereallilhaiti I’d say it actually has a lot of comparable features, it has a wider range of home builders with larger lot options than GCP. It will eventually have on site schools which GCP doesn’t.
GCP has better commercial shopping. They both have pretty good nature aspects.
Was there flooding in the Highlands neighborhood last week
@@nitarene1 I believe that the homes were all high and dry. The golf course took on water, but I don’t believe any homes were affected. I can confirm
