Buffalo fan here. The Bengals' team, coach and fans showed a tremendous amount of class. The camaraderie between the Bengals players and the Bills players was touching, especially when Joe Borrow patted Josh Allen on the shoulder. Coach Zach Taylor was a consummate professional. The candle light vigil conducted by Bengals and Bills fans at the hospital was a unified, heartfelt show of support.

I’m a Patriots fan and I am absolutely devastated by this. I don’t even know how the bills could be ready to play a game this week against us. Honestly I just hope that the players have proper options for expressing their emotions and what they witnessed and I am so sorry. I keep checking for updates every few hours and I genuinely hope he is ok and that his family and teammates can also mentally recover!

We both love football, and our teams, but we're all human beings, with family, friends, hopes, and dreams!! Michael....I know that Bills fans and Patriots fans are not supposed to like each other, but I know that there's many Patriots fans that care about life...ANY life, especially for another football player, regardless of the team! I was born and raised in WNY. Diehard Bills fan my whole life. I was blessed to work for our regional sports television station, Empire Sports Network and when the station was shutting down I had to make the difficult decision to relocate to Palm Beach County, FL to be close to my Mom who had made that move many years prior. I was a recently divorced single mom and needed that support from my family. Now, 22 years later I am preparing to move back to WNY, my home. It has never left me. PBC never felt like home. Yes we have beaches and shopping and whatever else, but we don’t have Buffalonians. I miss the people so much. They are in my heart. The small town of Hamburg, next to Orchard Park, that I grew up in is called “The town the friendship built” and Buffalo is the “city of good neighbors”. My heart has yearned for WNY the entire time I have been in Florida. It is a VERY VERY special place that cannot necessarily be understood by those who weren’t raised there. But you did a good job of painting a picture for the nation. All my love and thoughts are with everyone impacted by this. The Bills, the Bangles, the fans. All we can do is pray and continue to pour our love into him and his family. ❤️

There are people, with their various problems and goals & whatever, then there are certain communities that stick together. Islanders. Boaters. People of highly difficult climates. They are a different people. I don't belong anywhere (military kid), but I have great respect for those people. I'm sorry you're so far from home. Thank you for your compassion and sharing his heartwarming story and your genuine and wonderful personal sentiments on this. Got a huge lump in my throat watching this. We have all been touched and effected by this.
In one of the videos, his teammate #30 Dane Jackson was the first one to rush towards Damar to be with him, reciprocating the love and support Damar showed him when it was Dane's time of need. Damar is the beacon of light the world needed to unite as one. The generosity, compassion, the heroics of the first responders who saved his life on the field, seeing how amazing his GoFund Page blew up for the good of the children and how thousands donated to it is beyond amazing. And how all the NFL teams united as one family, changing their Twitter profile pics to his #3 jersey is truly something extra special. All of this pulls at my heartstrings and gives me so much hope in humanity and mankind. Continuously praying for Damar and all of his loved ones. In the end, we are all human beings and Love always wins. ❤

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Kyle. We are proud to have you as an adopted son of Western NY. I grew up in WNY and I'm proud to be associated with the area. I recently tweeted that amid all the challenges Buffalo has faced in 2022/23 one this is for sure, the whole world now knows what Buffalo, NY/WNY is all about. Love you, Kyle.

Still the best sports reporter in my opinion and I just can't stop looking at him in the background behind you, and then that clip of him on one bills drive... omg I'm so broken 💔 watched our bills since I was 4 or 5 as a bills fan, this is harder than the superbowl losses... the miracle, even o.j.
    Prayers for our demar hamlin!

Thank you Kyle. All prayers with Damar. He's a wonderful human being and a credit to our team, city, and country, to his life in Pittsburgh and his family.
The kids died in a house fire on Dartmouth, if anybody wants to make finding their story a little easier; 3 died initially, 2 more died yesterday, the same day Damar died on the field before being resuscitated. Grandparents made it out with the youngest one.
I forget the count from the blizzard, which you wouldn't even know happened a week later cuz of how warm it's been.
I still can't drive past that Tops without feeling the gravity of what happened there, and I'm not even black, not an urban dweller.
But we're Buffalo strong and we feel the world supporting us as we support our own and we love and appreciate y'all for it. Thank you

FOLKS...like many of you, I grew up watching the Buffalo Bills in the 1970's. I remember the "Electric Company" opening up holes for OJ Simpson! Throughout the trials and tribulations of Bills football over the decades...my love for the team has grown! BUT...at the end of the day, we're all human beings first and foremost! We all have family, friends, hopes, and dreams! This tragic event involving our brother Damar Hamlin, shows us all, just how precious life truly is!! In the blink of an eye, everything can change! With that being said, I'm going to love my parents even more, hug my kids a little tighter, and be thankful for everything God has given to me! You never know when your life will be turned inside out. Thanks Kyle!! Thanks fellow Bills fans!! Thanks to all that love and support Damar! God bless you Damar Hamlin.

One of the team doctors who helped save his life (We hope, of course) was one of the Sabres doctors years ago who save the live of Richard Zednik of the Florida Panthers when a skate cut his jugular vein right on the ice and he could have died very easily if you saw that... so this guy's a certified hero, I don't know what his name is but he should be recognized along with all the rest of them of course... All I'm saying is, Buffalo is blessed to have this miracle worker on the sidelines in the locker rooms... We couldn't see what happened to Zednik because he ran off the ice but the frozen red ice was definitely alarming but however it didn't have the instant impact of everyone on the sidelines at a football game watching... I'm not trying to compare, it's not comparable... but I'm just hoping that #3 has the best chance because he got the best care...
