      hi! yup it is sturdy and you can make it from thinner stock. based on first nations and japanese designs I discoverec on my trips.

    This has to be my favourite spoon design. Really enjoyed the class on BoonTV on this spoon along with the rest of the courses. Thanks for sharing your craft!

      You're very welcome, watching your videos and ones like them have inspired me to get into carving. Its very therapeutic, well when I'm not knicking my fingers it is anyway. At the moment I'm just learning the basic cuts and safety but I'm enjoying it alot.

    What do you think about stubai's carving axes, also known as "Zimmermannsbeil" ? Have you tried one yet?

      @@abbasduman6963 honestly, a good carving axe is an investment you make once in your life. Get a good one and the difference will be huge. Have a look at my Journeyman for an allround axe designed by me based on a decade of experience.

    Moin, (wiedermal) ein schöner Löffel, aber (mal unter Kanuisten;): Was ist denn das für ne verdammt praktisch aussehende Hose, die Du da an hast???? Über nen Herstellerhinweis würd ich mich freuen.
