I watched this movie and i was so smitten with tony. Then i realized my husband was just like this with me when we met and started dating. He was so respectful and sweet and still is, he always treated me like a lady. I didnt realize that i was watching him on this movie 😂

This romance is so light hearted, spontaneous and natural but at the same time passional and deep. I loved everything about this movie.
I love this film so so much. The ending was perfect in my opinion so glad they ended up together. Im irish so watching this film breAks my heart. I can imagine the pain and homesick feeling of leaving my home

They did. They lived until age 73 for Eilis and 75 for Tony. They died in Brooklyn in 2020 when they went outside and did not wash their hands.
