Morning walk around Santitham

Good evening to all of our ‪@vagabondlife2018‬ subscribers.
Today we take you for a quick walk around the area in Chiang Mai we are staying which is called Santitham.
Santitham is still very much a thai community but is a very up and coming area, where the young thai's have now come back to live and are starting up new businesses in the various Soi's (streets).
It is a pity that this isn't smell-a-vision because as you are walking around you are getting the most amazing smells as the thai community go about their morning, setting up their stalls, getting the charcoals burning and putting the chicken or pork on to grill, ready for their first customers.
This is just a sneak peak at our accommodation and where it is situated in the Chiang Mai area.

Thanks for showing us around - so peaceful at 7am as people are getting ready to go to work or start preparing food for the day - love the smells - I remember those mouthwatering smells. 50 baht equals around AUS$2.16 or NZ$2.35 or US$1.41 - love the prices and yes, it is easier to eat and support a family down the road than it is to eat in your own apartment - very fresh food and delicious 🐓🐖🐟🦐🦞 Love the videos - keep 'em coming ❤

Oh how cool. Thanks for the wanderings. Not so many thanks for going on and on and on and then on a bit more, about the food!! Jealous much! I've never been really wanting to go there, but your videos are starting to change my mind. I loved the bit when you said, something in you just changes when you get to Thailand. That's awesome!

Where are all the people? I'd be a bit worried about the situation with China living there matey.

Thai people are up till late preparing for the next day, so not everyone is up and about at 7am 🤣. Unless something has happened while we have been away, China us always flexing it's muscle, so not too concerned.
