On that seventh day he laid this vocal down for the song. Talk about a perfectionist ! This track was recorded 51 years ago and as with all Beatles songs sounds as new and fresh today. What artist today wouldn't kill for this song as a single and you know it would be a #1 hit. Nope, not with The Beatles, this was just another track on another album. Sooooo many great songs like this, just Lp tracks which makes them the greatest band ever.
Oh darling is an underrapreciated favorite of mine! As a Beatles fan myself, I can say that not every Beatles song is going to appeal to everyone, but once you know what someones likes, there are definitely songs that suit their taste because they were diverse in their sound..

Absolutely! The dude was such a beast. When his vocals evolved to that raspy style in 1975 during the height of Wings, it was like a resurgence of Paul as a true rocker. The 1976 Rockshow version of Soily is out of this world. He was a man of a thousand vocals lol
