I had this jetta, and i super love it. So easy to drive. Very nice car. Its just i trade in few days ago because i need a bigger car for my kids. I trade in to a 2018 vw tiguan and i loved it too.
I love my brand new 2016 Jetta sport, coming from 2014 BMW 320 which cost 45k and didn't have even nav nor zeon headlights for 21K Jetta beats the BMW 320 in every category hands down! not to mention it's built like a tank yet powerful!
For those of you wondering if you should pick one up, I definitely recommend it. Got mine at the beginning of the year and it's definitely everything I need. A baby GLI if you will
This is truly a "GLI Light" - especially if you have the 6 Speed Manual. I just found one locally for $8000. Considering that the same generation GLI would retail for at LEAST $12,000, that's a lot of VW fun for not a lot of funds lol
I agree the lighting package is awesome, wish the projector lamps were standard. Unfortunately where I am looking, I can only find the lighting package on the screaming loud, look at me red. As a sub-30s guy, it's not exactly the statement I want to make right now. I prefer the gray.
yeah from a business perspective, I understand their decision on the lights. projectors just look better/more expensive. That's actually another reason I prefer the gray, the mirrors don't stick out as much. I agree a painted black mirror would have looked sleeker, and turn signals for sure would have made a difference. Actually I do have one more question...is the dash soft touch now with the 2015/16 refresh? or is that reserved for SEL and up models?
The two tone interior on this is not attractive, not to mention impractical. I would have bought one of these already if it wasn't for the interior. It almost seems as if VW is trying to keep sales down on this model by only offering this interior.
+bobert866 I dont know what youre talking about, the Two-tone interior is usually the biggest compliment I receive about my Jetta Sport.. followed by the Rims.. Had it for 7 months and still looks brand new.

Pushbutton start but not keyless access? Very strange. It also needs a 6th gear so it can relax a bit on the highway.
The 5th gear on this model is more efficient than the 6th gear on a GLI on the highway (check gear ratios on VW website)
