hello and thank you Kru Pol for explanation to have a good position just i dont understand mahd tawad is the hook mahd wiang is a Lateral punch behind the ear and my thumb is down 🙏

Sawasdee ka, thank you for noticing the details. Mud Tawad is short range hook and mud Wieng is long range hook. For this drill, just start with L-shape, it’s easier to correct yourself.

I've never gotten a clear answer from anyone when it comes to head movement in traditional muay thai beyond the obvious risks. Philosophically, is it frowned upon even when it is working similar to the way excessive movement or karate style footwork?
