My extreme social anxiety makes me avoidant of interviews. I have a hard time communicating fluently and can't answer questions on the spot. I answer things with black and white one worded responses, but nobody wants that. Despite me being highly intelligent with great work ethic, I wouldn't be hired by many due to my lack of being "social". In these interviews, communication seems to be more valuable than skill.
I am sorry to hear about how your anxiety impacts you. It is worth practising your answers again and again. Try writing them down first, then use a mirror to deliver your answers to yourself, and then try getting friends or family to mock interview you.
