    A very-very good video, many thanks for it. You answered many of my questions, as a beginner in spinning. I have a nano newly and struggled very much with holding, pulling the fibre, adjusting tension and speed, until complete desparation. You explain it so wonderful detailed, that it is very useful for me. I am happy, that yt brought your video!

    Great video @Vampyx. I have corrected a fair number of bad spinning habits by watching your videos. Thank you for making all of the great NANO videos

    Thank you so much for your videos. I am new to spinning and got my new Nano and cant seem to stop the over twist. Your video helped me see at least some of what I’m doing wrong. 💕

    Thank you for this video series! I've just purchased a nano and your videos have been so helpful. It's so useful how you show the process of spinning from start to finish.

    This video has been one of the holy fucking trinity I've found on how to possibly spin silk with one of these bad boys. I've been wanting to raise silk worms and now I think I can actually make something out of it. Have an amazing day! You just saved a newbie a whole lot of hair pulling.

    Thank you, this is invaluable information. It is helpful that you did some spinning where we could just sit and watch a while - that is learning from an experienced person.

    Thank you SO much for this detailed explanation and close up view of basic drafting. This was the break-through instruction I needed to learn to draft on a wheel! I used it tonight on my Lendrum and, for the first time, I got it right! Felt sooooo good. You can’t know how frustrated I’ve been up to now, trying to learn to draft properly. I will try it next on my Wee Purple Dragon. Thank, thank, thank you!

    Thank you so much for this very clear video on starting to use the Nano. I was getting quite frustrated but your patient instruction and calm voice got me on track. I would like to see how the plying works as well. HUgs

    Thank you for the video. You sold me on backing the current ks for the 6.0. They look like small, uncomplicated e-wheels.

    I have problems plying. Could you do a video on that? The set up of the arms, the yarn through the leaders, the tension of the brake?i find your videos very clear and helpful!

    Thank you so much for these videos! Could you talk about when you are suppose to move the yarn guide?

    • @vampyyy
      @vampyyy  5 лет назад +1

      I'll try and remember to mention it in my next video. Ideally you should move it along in small increments at regular intervals to get an evenly filled bobbin. At the very least you should try and remember to do it before the area you're making collapses under itself. In reality this is something I'm very bad at remembering to do as I get into the zone, and end up with big mountains of yarn on the bobbin so I end up having to move the guides a lot at the end to fill the gaps in between them. It doesn't make any difference to the quality of the finished yarn, but filling evenly will help you get more yarn on each bobbin.

    I have a question can anyone help me? I have tried on three different wheels now to start drafting and any fiber I use will not go onto the beginner string or the spool or bobbin or whatever and I’m getting very frustrated

    hey ma'am I love your setup, but I was wondering, what is the battery and cord you're using? I'd like to set one up with a switch like that, but so far have had no luck finding something similar!
