Jinjer doing Jinjer things - like this. The timing switches really always get me with these artists. Just when you think you got the rhythm, they change it. Welp, ain't I a sucker, cuz then I have to listen again and again until I get not only the rhythms, but the transitions too! Dozens and dozens of listens 🤣. But I am also a sucker for a well versed vocal citizen too... 🤘

Great reaction, and yes this is an underrated song - I have many favorite Jinjer songs ..... but "Noah" and "Pit of Consciousness" are my absolute Favorites !!!!

From the 2019 Macro album, you've done a bunch from that one. The entire album kicks a$$. Would recommend "On the Top" when you come back to this record. Ship floundering is right there.
Here's what Tatiana said about Noah: “I think this is my favorite song on Macro because I went brave and tried to rewrite the Bible. It was inspired by a painting I made many years ago when I was reading a Bible for children. Every house post-Soviet Union, every family probably has this book. There are a lot of illustrations from ass-kicking artists, and I wanted to copy one of those illustrations. It’s Noah’s ark floating upon the ocean. So I was inspired by this legend and I wanted to change the story. It’s as if the whole world just started to exist but in a few weeks, it collapsed. Noah’s ark was upside down and every living creature died, and so this is the end of the world.”

I love this song sooo much. To me it goes with Bad Water, Ape and The Prophecy, because in this flipped version of the Noah story (pun intended), it was mother nature angry at humanity that did the flipping and to me (I would guess for Tatiana too), the Ark is the earth today floating through space with all of us on it, but we destroyed mother nature enough that she has already flipped us over and we're just waiting to sink and disappear. I've enjoyed a lot of science fiction, but unfortunately it seems most likely now that we won't reach another star, let alone another galaxy. There simply isn't enough time left for us before we sink.

Just wanted to say I've been enjoying your reactions. I'm glad you are as obsessed with Jinjer as I am and are willing to just do one after the other. More people should be as dedicated, IMO. I hope you will react to the rest of the Wallflowers album once you are done with the music videos. As i Boil Ice, Copycat, Sleep Of The Righteous, Pearl's And Swine and Colossus are breathtaking!! I also wanted to point you to another reactor who I think you would enjoy. JW SoundWorks 2 is the channel. He is an amazing pianist and song writer who became obsessed like us. He has even done a classic piano piece to the song Pisces. He's so good Jinjer themselves posted his analyzes on their Instagram page multiple times. Because you understand music, I think you would enjoy his perspective. Unlike your playlist his starts at the bottom. Just don't cheat and jump ahead on songs you haven't reacted to!! lol We are enjoying your views as well. I hope the song Mediator OMV is also comin soon cause Wow!! Take care

There's a youtuber that says the band doesn't know how to put her vocals with the music. I'm basically stumped by his idealogy of how it should be done. I love this song. When two emipers collide is a good way to say fuck off yeah? They know what their doing.

Ok I'm a Christian, and I do not take offense at this. Hello, it's art! I'm not threatened by radical thoughts or ideas. I don't think I'm going to hell for listening to a Jinjer song.
This one is super proggy and chaotic in the verse. I love the bendy riff of the refrain part, it's fkn sick the way they repeat it the first time through. Then the chorus comes in surprisingly with the high clean vocals. Always a surprise with Jinjer. This is one of my favorite songs. It's kinda a deep cut, but I totally get why it's Tatiana's fave from the album.
I did catch the grins. I saved a screenshot of the second one, where her eyes are laughing. I'm gonna paint her in acrylic.

It's in a holding pattern now. Yes... it got blocked for some reason but I disputed it and it can take 30 days for them to decide whether or not to release it.

Kind of a middle of the pack song for me. It doesn't translate live as well as others for some reason. Many bands would love to have a song like this in their catalogue.
