I can imagine this song being played while you enter the gates of Heaven. That you lived a good life and that your no longer in pain, no longer sad and that you are finally at peace and embraced by an overwhelming sense of love and that all the loved ones that you remember are there to greet you and welcome you to paradise.

I absolutely love this scene... the Eagles are like angels descending from heaven, gently lifting Frodo and Sam away to safety... and in their talons, our heroes, eyes half-lidded, rest at last.
Just wondering why the Eagles did not carry Frodo and the ring to Mordor in the first place ?

Eagles could be tempted by ring aswell. Also they are not taxi. They are angelic messengers send down by the Manwë himself. If Gandalf was afraid of the power of the ring Eagles would be no different.
@@daecimvs There's an interesting segment in the Hobbit book where Tolkien wrote a dialogue between Thorondor Lord of the Eagles and Gandalf when the wizard asked if they could carry them further. Thorondor denied saying that the eagles dare not fly over land where man dwells as they may be hunted for sport from the sky.

It gives me the same feeling as listening to the Nameless Song at the Dark Souls credits screen. It's just... so damn beautiful...!
This theme reminds me also on Silmarilion when Thorondor arrived and saved Fingolfin's body from desecration when he attacked and injured Morgoth and took Kings body at the top on the mountains which were looking on Turgon's city of Gondolin. Beautiful scene and music.
There are many fantasy settings that are great, but the father of all, the original one, is LOTR. You'd do well to remember that.

My God, if you all remember, this soundtrack is so similar to scene from Silmarilion when High King Fingolfin felt by hand of Morgot and when Thorondor, Lord of all eagles, saved Fingolfin's body from desecration and destroys Morgot's face.
Like an God sent some angelic form to save you from Devil himself. It always brings a tear in my eyes!

And then. Just when you were starting to blur out, the sun shined hard through the murk of cloud. Penetrating great gales of light beams onto your body to reveal you, to the Watchers. The angels who were informed by He whom you service, and you see beheld by the rays of love from God. The great shapes of wings, huge wings like bigger than men or anything you've seen on a bird. The crests of their golden feathers adorned so brightly in forms they willingly took so they can come. And dwell in matter that you may not perish like you thought, you thought you were going to suffer and die alone. Like you were supposed to... but alas the kindness, the love, He could not let you do this great service. Before lifting you up as you see the clouds start to race faster, and a hand somehow graces your face from somewhere.

And they lift you up and carry you off to He who sent you, back Home... where your Father will eagerly embrace and kiss you with tears filling their eyes. Rejoicing at your return, that despite your faults despite your problems which you were cut out with. He still loved you, still wanted you to seek redemption through blood and service, and you did. Now He can just be all the prouder, and loving of you for the rest of ever and ever...
I dream of this day, but I know that it will never come. Alas I still have the imagination atleast, that is grace enough...

Because the plan was to get in unseen, the eagles aren't exactly invisible, there's always this epic soundtrack just before they show up which makes everyone look up so they're not a subtle choice
There is also Theory that Gandalf wanted to take them to Gwaihir and ask of them to transport them to destroy it. That's why He said Fly you fools instead run. In hope they will understand his plan. It's just a Theory, a nice one but this way we wouldn't have a lord of the rings.

Fly is just another word for flee, since he sad “Fly" twice, within the context of flee/ run away.
What most people don’t get is, that the eagles are smarter than men, they don’t just do your bidding. They are almost Maia like. They have their own problems and aren’t a taxi service, furthermore with Sauron being as powerful as he is, and the effect of the ring now more dangerous than ever, the ring could corrupt these powerful creatures. Gandalf wouldn’t touch the ring, Galadriel almost fell for the ring, The Watcher and the Balrog were probably drawn to it just like Smaug...
Oh and don’t mention about the fact that he could see them coming from miles away sending hundreds of thousands of orcs to mount doom + Nazguls ect...yeah no
