ADV Motorcycle Ride - Hatcher Pass, Alaska

A quick trip up and over Hatcher Pass near Palmer Alaska. I am riding a 2020 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and my buddy is riding a nice KLR. This video captures the beauty of the area that is just 10-15 minutes from our house. On a day like this... we are so lucky and blessed to live here.

It depends on how well the road gets maintained and time of year. This year, not much gravel and mostly dirt so I'd expect slippery and muddy conditions.

There are a few campgrounds on the road up to the pass, mile 10.5 Government Peak Campground, mile 14ish, Gold Mint, and Mile 17 Fishhhook Trailhead have spots for tent camping. Stay bear aware!
