I love the sculpting of that t-shirt with light and shadow and colour. If you know it, you can see the classical example of a ball lit by one light source, on a refecting surface. The difficulty is applying that knowledge loosely.

I've never seen an artist quite like you who can take a relatively mundane scene and somehow turn it into an intriguing piece of art! As well, some of the paintings of the various planes were awesome! Thanks for sharing this adventure.

It seems that artists make the best models of form for art, since they always return to the same pose. I think James and Jeanette have created a new sub-field in art: Meta-Art. The art of those who create art. :-)

I absolutely LOVE how both Jeannette and James used the same phrase of 'the artist always returns to the same pose', like they are so telepathically and artistically in tune with each other. It's likely James used those words afterwards, in the editing of the video after Jeanette said it when asked about her painting, but the fact that they both painted an artist painting a plane without the other knowing (notice the surprise in James' voice when he sees her artwork) confirms my theory.

People's smart phones must have picked up my conversations with my roommate. She will be flying a Pave Hawk and is going into the Air Force up in Alaska. I am an artist, and normally, love landscapes and people......but this popped up, today.....and I said to myself.....hmmmmmm. I might WANT to try this......in homage to my father, who flew, and knew those astronauts from way back in Melbourne, Fla in the 60's. Exciting times.......and perhaps and old DC3, too.
