Give Jalen Hurts some credit because he has had five OCs in his ear... Well, he also walked into a situation where he had an All Pro team around him. I'm willing to bet most QBs wouldn't mind changing OCs if it meant top two OLs, best WR duo and RBs that are in top-five in rushing.
I agree with Sal…the 60 Packers took the NFL to a higher level. The merger with the AFL and the inception of the Super Bowl made pro football America’s game.
football became the national pastime due to the 1994 baseball strike. fall of 1994, no september pennant race, no playoffs, and no world series. the nfl filled the void and never looked back.
I fundamentally disagree that you need a mobile QB to beat the blitz. The best QB’s of all time who destroyed blitzes were Tom Brady and Peyton Manning because they were able to get the ball out quickly and accurately by reading the coverage and knowing where to go with the ball. The longer you hold onto the ball the more you invite pass rush. The best way to negate pass rush is to get rid of the ball before it gets to you. The real advantage of a mobile QB is what it does for your run game. It allows you to present things and run plays that other teams can’t with non mobile QB’s. That’s where Hurts value as a mobile QB truly lies.
Yeah, I don't agree with Sal at all (hardly ever do). You can strategically blitz a mobile QB but a QB who can run a quick-hitting passing attack is going to make DEs, DCs go crazy. I believe it was Maxx Crosby getting pissed off because he kept getting to TB12 but the Bucs offense was predicated on quick passes.
Jalen hurts is garbage, got exposed after one fluke season with best o line, and defense that had 70 sacks......looknhiw 49ers played him last year they didn't even rush or blitz him they made him stay in pocket and he couldn't do nothing.
Football took over as "AMERICAS GAME" from baseball, when the "STEROID STARS" in baseball, one by one, began to be exposed, and fall... that's when I stopped watching regular season baseball games, and football, college and pro, became THE MUST WATCH sport, for me✌️😁👍
Met Sal about 10 years ago in Canton for the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Great guy.

The DANcave is EPIC!!
I love hearing Namath tell the story of Bear Bryant benching his butt at Alabama just to prove a point that Joe Willie wasn't above the rules...

Sal pal rules
It was Randy Beverly who had the 2 interceptions. Johnny Sample had one and so did Jim Hudson.
Reminds of someone with multiple coordinators who was really talented but suffered until he got stability...... Alex Smith

Hey, Dem dan. How about addressing the Mike Tirico Sexual Harrassment Suspension from ESPN? You were there.

Lets be real much easier to watch 10-12 college games of favorite team then to watch 150+ baseball games in long season.
Hall of Fame lottery
Disagree with Sal Pal about how to beat the blitz. I want a QB who can beat the blitz with his brain and processing ability, not his legs
If he was smart hed say y does kansas city stay good. Same def coordinator same special tesms coordinator ..
Meh. Sal Pal strikes me as more of a Swen Nater.
Damn, Sal Pal is still fan-boying despite being a journalist?
Hurts is good, far from great.
Jalen Hurts is overrated.
