I am Christian with Muslim family members and this was so powerful. I also wanted to do modeling but my dad told me not to so glad I listened. even though there is u want to rebel against your parents most times your parents only have your best interests at heart. people only really see or hear the good things about fame modeling and acting but with all the good there is badness lurking. we don't need to be too rich or too poor but need to learn to be content what the point of being too rich to be able to use. generational wealth is not a blessing its a curse for your future family people kill family members to get their wealth some people become slaves to wealth.
This is why we shouldn't judge people by their cover. May Allah SWT protect us from all evils and help us look at and fix our own mistakes, Ameen.
I am not Muslim, but I find the teachings very beautiful and it’s encouraged me to dress more modestly and put effort toward more meaningful life choices.
You should research about Islam a truly beautiful religion 🙏🏿
May Allah guide you to the straight path, Islam is the religion of submission to Allah, the one God on whom all depends. He is neither male nor female and he did not have a son. These are characteristics of his creation, it does not befit his majesty. And there is nothing like him.
"Allah will humiliate you with that very thing that you put before him" - facts. "You only find true freedom when you enslave yourself to the One that has created you" - double facts. Thank you for sharing this video. Even though I am a Christian, your message is relevant to everyone. The modelling industry is absolutely sick and the emotional, as well as sexual abuse that happens (even on a very subtle level) is demonic. I know girls personally in this situation, but they are vulnerable due to their traumatic upbringing or life experiences which cause them to brush this sort of thing off... either because they are accustomed to abuse, or because they do not have the confidence to say no, or even worse they are in a dissociative state. That's how the industry gets away with it, by preying on vulnerable individuals. People who aren't scared to say no or speak up against certain things won't be found in this industry, or at least are a rarity - you'll usually only find women and girls who conform and adapt to the culture there. This video reminded me of a quote I saw (which is also an epiphany I had in my own life) - it said, "The path isn't a straight line, it's a spiral. You continually come back to things you thought you understood and see deeper truths". In other words, we may believe in something, then drift from that belief and possibly even end up on the complete opposite end of the spectrum where we totally reject that belief... only to return to that original belief, but with a deeper understanding of it. Life for many of us seems to be a continuous battle between our ego and our spirit. Anyway, thanks for the book recommendation too :) Hopefully this video will help a lot of women and girls stay true to themselves. God bless you.
I'm always proud of being Somali. We are people of strong Iman alhmdulillah 💯🇸🇴❤️💪

Subhan Allah, this revelation is shocking to sisters when I tell them and I'm equally shocked at their reaction lol. This is what it has come down to, how you look. Not just women, men too, these days put too much emphasis on how they look. So it's really time to focus our time and energy on something more worthwhile, than looking like something unnatural. Sister Halima did, the undoable Allah bless her, she detached her self from something that is very hard, I imagine. She had or could have opportunities that white girls would kill for let alone Muslim girls, but she chooses Islam and her modesty, I hope youtube influencers who are on a peasized platform compared to Halima can learn a lesson or two from this. Sorry, no offence.
Honestly I did care too much about what I look like back in grade 8 but as I am a 16 year old run I do not care about what I look like anymore and walahi bilahi walahi I smile so much even my mom is shocked lately because I always use to be in my room all the time watching RUclips beauty videos alhamdulilah when we accept our self and also my salah helped me to because i have been praying all my 5 daily prayers alhamdulilah been spending time with my family walahi iam so happy rn alhamdulilah I hope ur doing good too❤❤
Sister H.M, we shouldnt associate and generalize white girls and think they are all disbelievers.
There exists black, brown, yellow and white muslims.
I'm sure it would hurt a white hijabi knowing that she is being generalized.
May Allah SWT keep us steadfast in our 5 daily prayers sister. ☝🏼🖤💚🕋

As a Muslim sister I am proud to see you brothers discussing these topics. Influances are so focused on achievement nowadays that they forget the basics. So many sisters starting to remove the hijab. Young sisters who followed them as a hijabi Influancer see them removing their hijab. This unintentionally impacts the way those young sisters review themselves and their hijab. MashAllah I am proud to see how this sister working for vogue and shared her journey. This life is too short it has become so easy to fall into the trapped of this dunya. Thank you for raise awareness on these topics it is not discussed enough.
