The trip went well. We were able to fish for 3 days. Definitely a different style of fishing than I am used to. My biggest was just under 4 lbs.Not huge, but a respectable fish. They had a massive cold front that came through a few days prior and the water temps dropped into the low 60’s. Apparently that’s pretty cold for that area. I will definitely be better prepared with some heavier gear when I go back. Either way I got a nice tan to go back to school next week.

I honestly don’t understand how this video could possibly get ANY thumbs down. This was articulated very well. I don’t even have professors like this in b-school.

Thanks for an amazing tutorial. I have been tournament fishing for over 30 years and very few pros can explain what you did so naturally. Its really not my style to comment but props were absolutely in order this time. Very articulate, excellent content. Keep doing what you obviously are gifted to do. Blessings...

I really appreciate this ! I have watched a lot of vids on sonar,as well as playing around trying to understand it while out on the water. You did a KNOCKOUT job explaining. I totally understood you the whole time, and I got it LOL.. Thank you ! ..Oh and it was cool how you demonstrated the sun and the rock casting the shadow in relation to the beam !

First time ever commenting on a youtube video....Excellent Job, i have all these features on my lowrance carbon and have been using it now for 6 months. Your video did a great job of telling me everything i didn't know, which turned out to be a lot. I appreciate my electronics much more now that i f understand what is is showing me, and will get a lot more use out of them. No unnecessary commentary and time wasted. You should be getting paid to do this...hope you are. Good Luck and great job!

Great vid, very helpful. Just got my first fishfinder and your vids are the best I’ve found on their use. Waiting for ice-out here in Maine but I’ll put your advice to good use soon. You’re a natural teacher. Thanks.

Outstanding video. The screen shots with overlays are great examples and easy to understand. This is probably thee best ‘class’ I’ve had on reading sidescan and comparing Get to downscan. Thanks!
