I feel like the EA app always have problems. Either the EA app won't open, or it dosen't update my game. And sometimes I can't even open the sims! I miss back in the day when we had origin😢
Oh trust me Origin is just as bad! I have a Mac so I'm forced to have Origin and it's terrible. The first time I had the sims I only had it for a couple of weeks before the game just refused to work(it was saying the game was already started) and then finally a year later I was able to get it back, which so happened to be 2 days ago. The same thing just happened to be today. I didnt even have the game for 3 days before it crashes and refuses to work!!

I’m so mad I can’t get origins back I got ea after being forced to update. Now I updated my game and now it won’t even start and this is on my MacBook 😞
just randomly yesterday after i downloaded a reshade for my sims game, it like suddenly stopped working. like the game was launching it seemed but it was just a white screen for a few seconds and then it went back to the EA app. It didn't even show any error codes or "the app didn't launch" or anything. so i'm really sad and confused :(

I have a problem, where the sims is not launching, but it dosnt give me any error code, or anything. It dosnt even say that the sims is launching! Idk if this is a problem with the sims 4 or the EA app. But in any case, i really want to get this problem fixed so i can play sims again😢😭😫
Have you tried going offline in the ea app? Also, uninstalling & reinstalling the ea app (make sure you know your credentials before uninstalling)
@ChristineC.75 i'm having the same problem right now. after months i just wanted to spend some time in sims 4 again and then this... ea is really that bad with their app, support... everything. it's ridiculous. hopefully they'll get the problem sorted out soon. although i'm no longer hopeful...
This is happening to me as well! i was downloading some preset mods and when i opened my ts64_exe game it wont work and now i deleted it and decided to use EA and steam since it wasnt launching in the cracked game, but it just occured the same way! there's no warning after i click the play button, it just says its launching and then suddenly its back to the EA app again :( it keeps on repeating again and again...

Hii just an update here, letting ppl know that my problem has been solved! It's most likely your mods folder! its better to organize it and my problem was a carpet rug cc mod i recently downloaded and once i placed it into the mods folder this had caused my EA game to not launch! so its better to organize ur mods.

Hi i know the problem isn't related to this video but can you help me pls , when i make a new family or load a save it tells me to choose a season to play for example when i pick spring or other season it tells me to pick a place to live and it shows only blank space and i can't do anything i tried so many methods to fix it but nothing worked can you help?
Recently my EA app isn't launching at all and neither is the Sims 4 when I try to launch it separately. I've tried clicking and double clicking but nothing. Pretty sure it was working only a couple of weeks ago, sometimes it does this, it has before and then it just starts working randomly again so I don't really know what to do. Any suggestions? Please tell me I'm not the only one with this problem. 🤷♀️
Mine was working just fine a week or two ago, and now the EA app and Sim4 will not launch.
@@RiciPC94 At least it's not just me having problems!! Hopefully it's just a glitch or something and it'll be fixed soon (aka eventually)
@sophiedeards2360 I finally got it fixed, I cleared the catche and then ended up uninstalling both EA and Steam. I reinstalled both again as well as Sims, and it finally launched.

Whenever i launch fifa 22 it shows preparing game and then nothing happens and it shows background service blocked 8n ea app but i allowed it from firewall.. i tried every single step snd it use to work before but not working rn.

I literally had this happen to me yesterday and have to repair the app itself just trash.
PLEASE HELP! This isn't related to this video but I've been looking everywhere for an answer. After running Better exceptions, it found approx. 1000 cc that were outdated or broken. Is there a way to quickly delete all of them from my mods folder? usually I have to copy and paste the name of each cc item and locate it that way in my mods folder and delete them but there has to be an easier way then spending hours or even days going one by one. believe it or not that's what I've been doing even if there are 100+ conflicts. I just cant do it anymore.

Hi 👋🏻 few days ago I encounter an issue with sims3 launching through EA app. It was working perfect with no issue before And all of a sudden it won’t Launch. Instead a message pops up every time saying “this game requires administrative privilleges. Do you want to Grant Access to launch this game ?” I Click Ok And nothing happens. Sims 3 launcher opens And goes back to EA app. It’s a constant loop 😩 please help, i don’t know how to fix this. I uninstalled the game twice and that didn’t helped. I cleared cache for EA app And uninstalled And installed few Times… 😢

I literally have this problem, but with my Mac. How can I solve it?
Omg can you possibly help me??? Lol I keep getting the video card installed/make sure your computer has the latest video drivers or sum like that…. I’ve updated everything, updated the game, repaired the game, cleared cache …. Idk what else to do
Did you install the latest drivers for your video card? You can tell what video card you have by going into task manager (search bar) > type device manager > click the arrow next to Display Adapters > that is your GPU
Find the right & latest drivers for your GPU
If that does not work, then resetting the EA folder does the trick for me, always!
1. Go into Documents
2. Right click the Electronic Arts Folder
3. Rename it into Electronic Arts Old
(Keep it there, don’t remove it)
4. Open your game (now it should open since we reset our EA folder)
5. Time to put our files back into the game so close the game completely (you should notice a new EA folder in your Docs, that’s where we are gonna put our files)
6. Go into the EA old
7. the Sims 4 > Saves folder > select all files > copy
8. Go into the new EA folder > TS4 > Saves folder > paste all of your files there
9. The same thing applies to our Tray, Screenshots and cc!
So
10. Go into the EA old > TS4 > Tray folder > select all files > copy
11. Go into the new EA > The Sims 4 > Tray folder > paste all files
Do the same with your Mods & Screenshots!
PS. make sure we don’t copy any mods (aka files that end with ts4script or any kind of functional cc - you can tell by their names, things like restaurant mods, life mods, school mods, toddler mods etc)
Clothes, makeup, accessories, build cc can be copied!
Once we’re done copying all those files into the new EA folder, we can open the game & it should work!

@@RiPlayss does cutting the mods folder, pasting it onto desktop & opening the game do anything ? (btw, keep it there onto your desktop & don’t delete it, we’re just testing the game to see if this is a mod problem)
This still doesn’t work for me my game still is having a problem and it says something about the application won’t load
I am tryng to do all this things and nothing works, i don't know what i do anymore.
Here are some steps I follow after every single update & it does wonders for me
1. Rename the Mods folder into Mods old (keep the Mods old folder in your TS4 folder) - do this with your game completely closed
2. Remove these files from The Sims 4 folder: localthumbcache & gameversion (this way we remove any temporary corrupted mod files, similar to getting rid of cache!)
3. Launch the game (make sure you have script mods & cc enabled in game options) & close it rightaway
4.A new Mods folder should appear in TS4 folder (make sure it has the resource.cfg file inside!) if that folder did not pop up, launch the game once again
and make sure that the scripts & cc stayed enabled in game options > other > apply changes > exit game > relaunch it > exit it, now the mods folder should appear after following this process
5. Copy all of your cc - clothes and furniture - (but no script mods or functional cc, things like life mods, restaurant mods etc) from your Mods old to the newly generated Mods folder
6. Download the updates for the mods (if there are any! If there are not, we gotta be patient a bit & wait till those updates get released🙏)
7. Place your updated script mods into your newly generated Mods folder
Hi, actually my problem is the EA app is not opening! the login page does not load, it just shows a black screen, so i cant really enter in the app and start the game. I already tried clean the cache, reinstall and repair the EA app. Can you help me?@@Darielle
Mine just isn’t working in general, and says the application was unable to start correctly.
Then you can try to cut + paste the Mods folder onto Desktop & then open the game so that we can find out whether this is a mod issue or not
@@DarielleMine doesnt say anything, i just open it and it brings me back to the ea app and its like that over and over again. I tried to bring out the mods folder and i could open it afterwards but how do i find what cc is bugging the game? (I have around 2500-3000 files of cc)
@@Kajdjsjdjjsjajdmine is the same and I have too much cx/mods too :/ do you find out how to fix it ?
