I can't in good conscience judge the entire Catholic church because of the abuses of the past. The reality is that all denominations have issues in their theology and have abuses. This is an issue within all of Christendom, not just the Catholic church. In the book of Revelations, Yeshua had issues with all of the seven churches. They are an example for all Christians and Christian denominations. So although I disagree with quite a few of the Catholic, man-made doctrines, I have to admit that they have some things right too. God still used them to preserve a lot of the church history, we'd be missing. The writings from the early church fathers, who took over after the apostles were preserved. They offer some valuable insight into the challenges that Christians were facing in that time period. I recognize that even they didn't always agree on every little theological point, similar to us Christians today. That doesn't mean that we can't be unified through the Holy Spirit. God still has a purpose and plan for the entire church, Catholic, Orthodox and protestant.

There are "professionals" that get sent into the "churches" to take over running everything. I had joined a Community Church which had started small (I think the pastor was mind controlled from the military he was from a military school and alot of the people in charge of things were from this military school) but there were some good people in this church but I watched as people were sent out. The first I noticed was the music pastor, he was replaced and I noticed that he seemed to be angry about being sent out. Then people started dropping from Cancer, the youth pastor was especially attacked. I had warned them about an elder in the church (I got followed sometimes around town by some church members I don't know if it was the elder I pointed out to them I didn't know who they were, I got Holy Spirit insight and this man was a retired Chemical Engineer from Bayer a Nazi company who was just praised only for his "Lemonade" ...let's just say I would never drink his "Lemonade" ever, he also ran some Bed and Breakfast around town and the one was the Pink Dolphin which began to be managed by people out of Pennsylvania, church pros came from there and from Tenneseee, and they ran Reiki classes for children and for adults). The Pastors wife was his controller and he often told a story about his grand proposal to the daughter of "Doc Deep Pockets" (his own name for his father-in -law ex military pediatrician that got sued for the death of a child, this doctor had been chosen for my daughter years before I got into this church and it took me a while to connect the dots with this man, I am a daughter of a naval chief and when I had my child I chose an Ob/Gyn which got switched out on me against my will by another doc that looked to me like ex military (I disliked this man a lot) , he left the practice as soon as I was done with their services for my daughter's birth. Some five years later the Ob/Gyn office burned down and she got a brand new office with all new equipment) his proposal was to get dressed up as a Knight (Kanite --Canaanite?) upon a horse riding up to propose to Alison (of wonderland?) What a rabbit warren this world is, sorry to burden you with this story , there is so much more I don't tell here. PS they got rid of the pastor after his wife died.

I think it's human nature for a group to form itself into a hierarchy. The trouble is that the wise people often aren't the ones who rise to the top. Often one person or a small group are impossible to hold to account. Then if the Israelites had been more democratic on their way to the promised land, they'd probably have gone back to Egypt! I don't know how an organization can be organized to guarantee that they have good leaders and don't give up in the face of adversity. Any ideas?

Revelation 2:13 and 15 - 14But I have a few things against you, because some of you hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to place a stumbling block before the Israelites so they would eat food sacrificed to idols and commit sexual immorality. 15 In the same way, some of you also hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
By these verses, I'd say it is fairly accurate to make this assertion...
Balaam caused Israel to sin by exposing them to wives who lead them away from YeHoVaH and to worship false gods...
Telling the "Israel" discussed in Romans 11 that "The Laws of GOD" have been "done away with" is the teaching of Balaam...
Convincing them to believe the doctrines that "Christian" days replaced YeHoVaH's Appointed times...
Convincing them that Paul had the authority to override what Yeshua had told us...
Balaam was hard at work teaching New Believers in Messiah:
The Sabbath isn't for "the church"...
And neither are the food laws or any of the other "Old Testament" Laws...
And "lording over" people by restricting their access to the truth...
Along with convincing them that just because a "church father" said this or that, then it replaces Scripture...
      Balaam and Nicolaitians...

So people talk about "the church" and how it's supposedly the name for the Body of Messiah and not the building...
The word "Church" originated from the word "Circe" (sometimes spelled "Kirke")...
Circe was a Greek/Roman lesser goddess who lured men to their deaths by deceiving them...
Calling YeHoVaH's Quhal a "church" instead of an Assembly or Congregation is a legacy remnant from the Roman Catholic "Church" via her determination to syncretize everything heathen and abominated with the worship of a Holy GOD... Unfortunately, the Reformation didn't go far enough...
The "English" words "Assembly" or even "Congregation" are perfectly accurate translations of the Greek word Ekklesia or Ecclesia...
Was there a "church" in the wilderness"? (Acts 7:38)
    I don't think so...

  • @evamarie29
    @evamarie29 3 месяца назад +1

Thank you. But I feel it necessary to mention that there was too much reference to the early home "churches" in this video. And by now we should know and accept that the church organization did not exist till Catholicism made it officially theirs. It was always the "assembly" and/or the "congregation" until then. The "church" term was ADDED (Rev.22:18-19) later. It perpetuates the "confusion." These are two different organizations. One advocating the Torah has been done away with. And the other, the remnant reviving our new understanding that... The Torah is for Today!!! Shalom.

"Nicolaitans" is a compound Greek word alluding to many things.
In context though "Nico" means to conquer and "Laitans" means the people. Thus, to conquer the people through structures.
Today ROME controls the Roman Catholics not the Bible, etc.
Any form of organization that chokes out the will of the people is wrong.

God rules His Church from the top down. It has to function that way because it is the only way that will work. God's Family is ruled by His government, and it is NOT democratic or wrong. "Christians" in the West are accustomed to systems of government that allows them free reign to do whatever they want, but it clearly hasn't worked out very well in their countries or their churches. Anyone who refuses to submit to God's government is in the wrong.

You say that this is “The Gentile Way” but I see where Jethro set up the authority structure with Moses, then I see it with, The High Priest, Levites, Torah teachers, and finally I see what looks like an authority structure when Paul lists the gifts and callings, Apostles,Prophets,Pastors…. We are all called to be servants of one another just as Yeshua displayed when washing the feet of the disciples. I’m not sure that I have a problem with having an authority structure. Even Peter, James and John ( in that order) were given authority levels within the group…Not to “lord over”people but for the sake of order.

This is not the doctrine of the Nicolaitans at all. We should go to scripture and look to those who were alive during that time to find an explanation.
    Rev 2:14
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
Yeshua clearly states in context that the doctrine of the Nicolaitans was a doctrine of sexual immorality like the doctrines of Balaam and Balak. Let's get more details from one of the early church fathers who battled against heresies:
St. Iraneus, Against Heresies Book1, Chap 26
The Nicolaitanes are the followers of that Nicolas who was one of the seven first ordained to the diaconate by the apostles. They lead lives of unrestrained indulgence. The character of these men is very plainly pointed out in the Apocalypse of John, [when they are represented] as teaching that it is a matter of indifference to practise adultery, and to eat things sacrificed to idols. Wherefore the Word has also spoken of them thus: But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. Revelation 2:6
Mr. Rood is twisting the meaning of the Nicolaitans to attack the structure of church leadership with no scriptural references. If the Lord Jesus didn't want leaders appointed in the church, we wouldn't have apostles, bishops, elders, pastors and overseers. The problem is not with the structure of the church. The problem is the lack of character in leadership, manipulation and abuse of the congregation. Yeshua is shaking the global church to bring down those who are not leading with true repentance and are abusing people for their own gain like the Nicolaitans who abused people for sexual desires.
Why would the Lord hide what he truly hated? He is very clear about what he said. We don't need to study Greek to find out what he meant. We live is an evil, adulterous world and the call to repentance is loud and clear for both unbelievers and believers.

"Surely, you shall not die, but you shall be as gods, knowing good AND evil!"
And THAT lie of Satan, has been the driving force of 'life after death,' ever since...
There is no life beyond the grave. You will not go to be in any paradise, the day you die.
You will lie in your grave, or urn, or mausoleum, and you will remain 'dead,' until the Messiah returns, and calls you to rise up...
The 'HOPE,' of Salvation, isn't in dying and going to heaved.
It's in being raised up to eternal life, and the mortal body that died, will be raised up and be made 'immortal.'
THAT, is when you are saved! And THAT is the hope of those, who understand the scriptures.
Until that time arrives... 'Hear what the Messiah Yeshua commands, and do everything you can to obey that.'

      I find it really strange...
Whenever I see someone or hear someone say certain things...
Like "there is no place in Scripture"...
For some reason, A Scripture comes to mind that disproves their statement..
"Nowhere in scripture does it say we will go to the third heaven to "hang out"
Am I wrong or does this verse say this exact thing:
Revelation 6:9 through 11 - 9And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. 10And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?” 11Then each of them was given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed.
It sounds like souls of the Martyrs are "hanging out" to me...
And they ask Yeshua, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?”
They are not on the earth, are they?
They are in the same place Yeshua is... (In Heaven with the Altar)
      For the record...
      I don't believe that we'll be:
"hanging around on the clouds paying harps and asking the Apostles stupid questions all day" - Michael Rood

"THAT is when you are saved!" Absolutely correct. Also when we are born-again.

Based on what you have written here...
Please explain to me what Abraham's Bosom is...
Yeshua spoke of this in Luke 16:19 through 31 - 19“But there was a certain rich man who used to dress in purple and fine linen and lived luxuriously every day.
20“And there was a certain beggar named El‛azar, being covered with sores, who was placed at his gate,
21and longing to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Indeed, even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22“And it came to be that the beggar died, and was carried by the messengers to the bosom of Aḇraham. And the rich man also died and was buried.
23“And while suffering tortures in the grave, having lifted up his eyes, he saw Aḇraham far away, and El‛azar in his bosom.
24“And crying out he said, ‘Father Aḇraham, have compassion on me, and send El‛azar to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering in this flame.’
25“But Aḇraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your life you received your good, and likewise El‛azar the evil, but now he is comforted and you are suffering.
26‘And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set, so that those who wish to pass from here to you are unable, nor do those from there pass to us.’
27“And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you would send him to my father’s house,
28for I have five brothers, let him warn them, lest they also come to this place of torture.’
29“Aḇraham said to him, ‘They have Mosheh and the prophets, let them hear them.’
30“And he said, ‘No, father Aḇraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they shall repent.’
31“But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Mosheh and the prophets, neither would they be persuaded even if one should rise from the dead.’ ”
I make no claim to understand everything, but I don't think you are correct in your assertion...

Sin therefore is structural. Sin is not in your human nature or moral failures imposed by religion, especially Christianity.
All have sinned because we have been born into the “body of sin”. This means to say you have been under “the law of sin” and “sold to sin” ( traded) since birth, in your nation(body of sin).
For many who later in life turned to religion, such as Christianity, you descend further down the depth of sin in delusion.
The video offers no solution as it has not come into the revelation of righteousness through Christ. The world and Christianity only know Christ as an idol, leading back to the sin of Nicolaitans.
